How are crowds and weather mid-October?

DFi and I will be on our honeymoon from Oct. 16-23. I was wondering how the weather is and what crowds are like. I know there's the F&W fest at Epcot, so I was wondering how that effects Epcot. We are also planing to go to MNSSHP, does it (or can it) get cold at night? We went to MVMCP last December and while it wasn't THAT cold, Splash Mtn did "dampen" our experiance (we got front row and a TON of water right in the face!). And how crowded are the parks over all? It's listed as "regular" season I believe, so it can't be too crowded, right?

Any info would be a great help!

Just wanted to say and tell you that we will be there the exact same dates as you guys! We have been there around the same time before and the weather has always been beautiful. Congrats by the way on your wedding. Maybe we'll see ya there. You'll be the one in the lime green wedding dress right? LOL

I was there around that time last year too. It was more crowded than I expected it to be but not packed if you know what I mean. I think it may have been more crowded because people were rescheduling their vacations from September when many were cancelled due to hurricanes. The only time I felt like it was "too crowded" was going to Epcot one evening after the MK closed early b/c of MNSSHP. It was jam packed! I'm sure this is because it was a Friday night so more locals were probably out for the Food and Wine Festival, the MK closed early for MNSSHP so lots of guests funnel on over to Epcot and AK was closed early too so it was Epcot or MGM for parks. Other than that one night, it wasn't too bad.

The weather was great though! Still hot but not "sweaty-hot" as my grandson says.
