How are crowds and weather in early June?

We were planning a trip for May 2013 but I just found out that the week we're planning on going the kids have end of the year testing. I love going in May The weather is perfect! We are thinking about changing our trip to Ma 31-June 8th. Will the crowds be similar to what's it's like in early May? And how's the rain that time of year?

June gets busier with every day that goes past, building up to the last week of June/first week of July, which is the busiest time of the busy summer season.

Crowds in early June will be much more manageable than late June, but early June is much busier than early May.

Weather will be hot, with a good chance of a daily afternoon thunderstorm.
