Heading down June 13 with 2 nieces and a brother who has not been to WDW in 30 years. I am expecting him to be overwhelmed. He has no idea how huge WDW is - probably envisions that we are going to Six Flags.
I hope crowds willl not be unbearable. We'll arrive on Sunday and stay for 5 nights. Are the parks open late? Do they typically have SpectroMagic parade and fireworks. We won't be there on a Friday or Saturday night - just Sunday - Thursday. Does anyone think those days of the week may mean less crowds?
I feel like a Disney expert until it comes to going with my brother and nieces so I want to know a little about what to expect that time of year.

We were there the same week last year, but you can't assume that parades, fireworks or hours will alway be the same from one year to the next. Check the DisneyWorld website in May, it should have pretty reliable info by then.
We found that crowds were fairly heavy, but not as bad as later in June. I think weekends tend to be heavier due to the "day-trippers" coming in from the central-Florida area.
Make good use of Fastpass and remember that even with the heat, humidity and crowds it's still better to be at WDW than just about anywhere else!!:hyper:

Woo Hoo...3 months to go!!! :bounce: :bounce:
