Just signed up to this board and am sooooooo happy i found i am taking my parents on a well deserved trip to disney this spring break(march 22-29) and am trying to get discount codes for our stay. i keep seeing everyone posting about how there are "bounceback" codes and 40% off codes...does anyone have these codes and are you willing to share? or can you please help me locate these?

thank you guys in advance!!!!:confused3

Bounceback codes are the discounts you are offered while you are currently staying at a Disney resort. Free dining codes are sometimes offered during the bounceback discount for current onsite guest. The past few years there has been free dining for late August and most September. That discount is generally offered during April. Since I noticed your dates fall within the Easter break, beware that there are generally no discounted offered during holidays. Discounts on rooms are offered to fill empty rooms, during holidays they have no problem filling the rooms. Sorry.

As far as the 40% off codes, NOBODY knows, LOL. It's just luck, pure luck. They appear in your mail box. I've never gotten one.

I can only use our situation: AAA rate for May '08 at the Polynesian is 10% off rack rate or $40/night savings. Staying 6 nights = $240 savings. New AAA membership (unsolicited intro. ad received in mail), $57 for 13 months -- we don't even need roadside or other AAA assistance, but unless a better code/savings come around soon, we'll just join AAA (I didn't need AAA membership # when I made the reservation, but will for check-in).

Rusty, the AAA rate varies depending on where you wish to stay, but I think it's between 10 and 15%. ABSOLUTELY worth the yearly fee-- I think it was $80 for us in NY. (And that's aside from the roadside protection and other discounts they offer.)

RIght now it's the only discount we have for Disney, although I'll be delighted to get more.

Here's what www.mousesavers.com says about the AAA discount:

"AAA and CAA Resort Hotel Discounts
American Automobile Association (AAA) and Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) members qualify for "room only" discounts almost year-round, though there are a limited number of rooms available for each date. You can generally save about 10-20% at the Disney resort hotels, depending on the season.

In general, the discounts run as follows:

During Value Season you can get up to 15% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 20% off at the Value and Moderate resorts and the Ft. Wilderness campsites.

During Regular Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts and the Ft. Wilderness campsites.

During Peak Season and Summer Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts.

The only time AAA/CAA discounts don't usually apply is Holiday Season (around Christmas) at the Value and Moderate resorts.

You don't have to book AAA/CAA rates through the Auto Club. Room-only reservations with an AAA discount can be booked directly through the Disney Reservation Center at (407) W-DISNEY or a travel agent who specializes in Disney travel. Just ask if there is an AAA or CAA discount for your dates and resort.

AAA/CAA rates for all of the following year are usually released in the summer. 2008 AAA/CAA "room only" discounts were released on August 5, 2007."

look into it today, since there are limited numbers of discounted rooms available and you're planning on Spring Break. Can you play with your dates a bit, or even push it back to summer?
