I wanted to check for 14th floor concierge rooms on WDW's website (room only) and nothing showed up. Does that mean theres absolutely nothing left? Or perhaps theyre only checking tower club rooms?

just curious, thanks in advance! :3dglasses

To use a technical term, the Disney website "stinks". For a huge corporation, you think they would have this down to a science. My husband is in the computer field and tests software for a major financial institution. He cringes everytime I tell him about the Disney site. He said that if his website was like that, he would have been fired.

Okay, off my computer soapbox now and back to your original question. Chances are that it is sold out as there are only 5 standard concierge rooms to begin with on that floor. In my experience with their on line system, don't pre-select concierge or suite options. This only seems to confuse it. For this request, I would give them a call. I don't have the 1-800 number, but I have seen it posted recently. That will save you the cost of a long distance phone call anyway.

well, we already have the room for one night, but im ready to add a second night...was planning on doing it when we get there, but im afraid it will be booked by then.

when i called to make the original ressie it seemed like all rooms were available, cro gave me a few options.

Did you check with someone in the IPO department to see if they knew what the availability was? They probably don't, but it's worth asking them. I'd try to do it ahead of time, but if nothing is available, go ahead and ask when you arrive. It's a business and although they may not have any of the regular concierge rooms available, they may have a 1 bedroom suite open. It would be their call to possibly upgrade an incoming guest (into an otherwise empty room) and let you book an additional night there. It's worth a shot.

Yeah, I decided to just wait and see availbility when we're there. If there isnt anything for the second night, then it wasnt meant to be. :p

thanks for the quick answers, tammi...you rock! :3dglasses
