Does anyone know how accurate the facebook Disney World wait times are ? I checked them with easywdw and they had different times.

The most accurate is always going to be from the source......Disney. If you download the MDE app it has wait times that will correspond with what is showing at the actual ride. It can be a glitchy app sometimes, but mostly for trying to make/change FP or ADRs, the wait times don't glitch very often.

When I was at the park (MK) last May the wait times on MDE were longer than actual. I was standing in line at HM for example MDE said 25 mins and the posted time at the ride was 15 mins. I actually got on to the ride in about 10 mins. Other examples were the same on that day anyway. Hard to say if this is typical or not. I always feel the wait times shown are longer, the most important thing is to relax and know you will ride everything you want to with a little prep.

I do have the Disney app on my ipad but I do not have wifi here so I was just checking facebook and easywdw.

I have to disagree with this in general. MDE will have the wait times that are posted but those wait times are almost always NOT the most acruate. I have found that EasyWDW and the Lines app from Touring Plans are much more acurate in regards to actual wait time...

That was our experience last week as well, every day in all the parks (well, we didn't go to AK, but in Epcot, MK and DHS it was true). Every wait time on the MDE was overstated by at least 10-15 minutes. My husband rode Star Tours standby yesterday (Friday). The MDE and the ride sign said the wait time was 25 minutes. He was OFF the ride less than 20 minutes after getting in the line.
