Trying to avoid sandwich/fries at every CS meal, so I would love to hear about your favorite CS salads around the world!:lovestruc
Thanks!

KJ

Our ultimate, hands down, favorite CS Salad is one served at Sunshine Season in the Land in Epcot. It's their Seared Tuna Salad. Seared Tuna on Mixed Greens with Sesame Rice Wine dressing $8.49. So good-nice rare tuna on good salad. We've also gotten it with Caesar dressing at it's jsut as good as the sesame one.

It's hard to see but that's all slices of rare tuna under the shred.

They have 2 other salads there that sound good as well. Though I'm not too sure about roasted beets. :rotfl2:

Roasted Beets and Goat Cheese Salad with Honey Sherry dressing $7.49
Caesar Salad with Oak-fired Chicken $8.49

My second favorite CS would, surprisingly be, at Blizzard Beach, of all places. Lottawatta Lodge, Cobb Salad (Cobb Salad $7.19) It was surprisingly fresh, and full of good stuff.

Great caesar salads from just about all CS places but my fav salads are anything at WPE

I totally forgot about WPE! :confused3 The salads there a good-and big! We had the BBQ chicken, very good but a little spicy, especially for my DM. Next time I order I'll try to get the sauce on the side. Also, WPE has pasta, pizza, breakfast, and more...not just your usually fried CS. We ate there twice last trip and it was our first time there. It's located very close to DQ which is convenient if you're going there.

And here's a nice small fresh fruit salad from SS (also available other locations)

These salads look delish! Thanks for the photos!!:goodvibes

I think I could eat at WPE every day and never have the same meal twice. Everything looks wonderful! I have to try that BBQ chicken salad. A little spicy sounds great to me!

Thanks all!

I think there are a few resort foodcourts that have make your own salad stations. It's not like a salad bar where you make it, but you do get to pick the toppings and a CM makes it for you.

I did this at POR and BC and my salad was delish! I'm not sure of any other resorts that offer this, but it's worth a special trip to them if you are craving a good, healthy salad! They had tons of fresh toppings to choose from.

ETA: I LOVE all the WPE salads too. They are awesome. I had the Chinois chicken, the BBQ chicken, and the Rotisserie beef . . . all were really good!

More from WPE...The one in the Marketplace...
This is the Spinach Salad. Very very good!

At Roaring Fork in Wilderness Lodge: The Grilled Chicken Salad with Apple Vinaigrette - Granny Smith Apples, Candied walnuts, Tillamook cheddar cheese, croutons $7.99

This has to be one of the best salads I've had anywhere. :)

That looks good-I think we'll have to make a trip to try that out. I know my DM would love it!

I love it too!

I never read anything about the salad at Flame Tree. I'm glad to hear that it's good. I'll probably end up getting that on our upcoming trip. We always eat there because DH loves the ribs and I usually get the fruit plate, but it's just not filling enough. If I pair it with a good salad - YUM!!

My favorites are the salad at Flame Tree and the Chinois Chicken Salad at WPE....I plan to get one of each on my June trip this year....can't wait.

The Earl's Cobb at EoS is fabulous! When I lived down there, I went at least once a week. Roast chicken,Swiss and cheddar cheese, tomato, cucumber, cranberries, bacon, mixed greens and Buttermilk Ranch dressing. I always added croutons and they it made it the perfect salad:thumbsup2

I too vote for the Earl's Cobb Salad at EOS in DTD.
We have an EOS here in town too - and that's what I ALWAYS get!
