How about we start a Ding tread?

Why don't we start a Ding thread where someone could update it with Orlando rates and the expiration time. I quick way to find the cities is to look at "from Orlando".

I'll start:

Orlando to Birmingham for $33!

Am I doing something wrong or why when I click on a ding rate that says through Nov. 17 the only dates that show up are Oct. 1-4th am I doing something wrong or is that all that is available? Thanks

You have to put in your date at the top before you click "book now"

This would help me out. I have a SLOW computer and think I have a virus or something, so DH won't let me download ding. Looking for Orlando to Philly Oct 29th...
It would be nice if they pasted it at the top of the boards too.

Unfortunately if you don't have ding loaded you can't use the fares. They don't come up in the regular ressie area. But I'm going that time and the only Ding was about 6weeks ago for $65.

As far as your computer goes do you use Spybot...if not download that and clean up some of your gatorware....it will help with your speed.

OP, you must have been reading my mind. I don't have access to DING at work and would love to come to this board to see if my flights are available so I can rush home to get them. Actually, I'm only looking for a flight back home to Columbus on Nov 22 as I got my flight down to Orlando for $54 through DING (thanks to some great people here on the board that tipped me off, otherwise I would have never known and would have never rushed home!).

This is not entirely true. I did download at home, but can't download at work. But, there is a link that I used from Flyertalk.com to get to the Ding through a backdoor. However, I did need my id from when I downloaded at home. From what I understand, you could use someone elses id, but if I posted mine here for 60,000 other people to use SWA would see what was happening and probably cancel my id. So in essence, if you could possibly download it on another computer or get a friend to give you their id to use, then you could essentially get into Ding through a backdoor link.

Second question: when it says fares avaiable through Nov. 17th, is it an error that I can only look at flights from end of Sept. - Oct 4th? Or is it just that the ones I am looking at are limited dates?

Are you putting in your dates before you click on "book now"?
