fly next to a dead person or be stuck on the airplane (grounded) for 12 hours? When I say next to the dead person, I mean right next to or maybe a seat away, not just on the same flight.

For me that's a tough call honestly. I might have to actually go with the dead person on this one.

Yeah, I think i would take the dead person. Of course after 12 hours stuck on a grounded plane there probably would be some dead people on board by the time we were allowed off.

I saw that newstory about the poor woman who died after take off... how sad. I have been around so much death lately that it doesn't bother me anymore so i'd have to choose that one. Just think of them as sleeping.

I would take the dead person easily. No making small talk, no spreading germs, no smacking me with the arm rest, and no snoring in my ear.

I can't stand to be grounded on a plane. I hate being in that close proximity with so many people I don't know and not being able to get up and walk around would drive me crazy.

Dead person for me. Sitting for 12 hours not being able to move would drive me insane!

I have no problem being around the dead body. Been around a few already as it is (not on a plane, though). Even sat and held my grandfather's hand for a few hours when he died (since it was very early in the morning and the funeral home couldn't get there right away).
