I hope this fits here...no pun intended
I have never had crocs before, but everyone in my family wears them.
I also like to wear socks(cant see that with crocs by the way).
Through this site and my family, I have decided to give them a shot. I do have a fused ankle and artificial hip and anything that can make me walk better and with comfort, I will try. Looking at the different styles, the ones I would go for are the islander or all terains. Do these have the same comfort fit as the others since these are more like shoes than slip ons. Has anyone tried these?

I've been curious how they would work too.

I have a fused lower ankle too and have been scared to try the crocs. I just had surgery at the beginning of the year on my upper talus bone to remove part of it to try NOT to have to get an artificial ankle or fuse the top of it, so I really need something comfortable and supportive. I just don't want to pay $40 for a pair and have them not cut it! I wear good athletic shoes, even really expensive women's basketball shoes, so changing to those would be a huge difference.

I can only vouch for the cayman style, but I have severe joint pain in my feet. I have trouble even putting pressure on them to get out of bed in the moring. I bought a pair due to all the hype about them here on the Dis. I am so thankful I did. They have allowed me to walk without pain again. I wear them everywhere even to work. I also severly sprung my ankle three weeks ago, because of my poor balance. My Doctor recommended for me to keep wearing them until my ankle healed completely.
