How about the finish at "The Masters"? wasn't that fun?!

It was AWESOME!!! I watched his whole round, and I was really hoping he was going to come back and take it. I was so happy for him!!

There is just something about this tournament that makes you stop and watch it, even if you're not a golf fan.

I remember watching the masters on Sunday afternoon when I was little. My dad never watched tv golf, but would always watch the masters. I still remember seeing the 16th hole on tv with the spectators (oops patrons) lined up down the side of the lake, all in the shadows of the late afternoon.

My younger Son needed to leave to get to work & reeeaaally didn't want to leave. We found out what radio station was covering it - he left and called when Michelson won! We were thrilled for him.

(Who said that golf is boring on TV?!?!?!?)

It's an awesome tournament to watch, the kids were even watching with us. It's always nice when you can sit down with your kids and watch TV and not have to worry about what you're going to see.

my whole family golfs in fact i was raised in a golfing community and now live a few holes away from my paents and down the fairway from my IL's :crowded:

There were 16 people at my house for Easter Lunch and yes the masters was on in every room!

It was great to see everyone cheering and clapping for lefty, he finally got that major monkey off his back!

PS he daughter is absolutly precious!

DW became a Mickelson fan a few years ago, and I've always liked him. While he was on 17 I explained his situation to my mother, so by the time he hit his putt even she screamed when it went in.

About 5 minutes before that, David Ortiz hit a game-winning home run for the Red Sox, so after Lefty hit his putt DW said "THis was a good sports day." And to think she didn't want to let me watch :)

Oh, and how about those women players?! Wait a minute, there were no women players.

I am so happy for Phil Mickelson.

Did anyone see the curls on his daughter's head? Just adorable!

My all time favorite is Duffy Waldorf.

The Masters was awsome! I'm glad that Phil Mickelson won his 1st Major Championship. It took him many years to do it but at least he finally go one. My hats off to Ernie Els also. He played awsome yesterday also to finish 2nd.
What a finish by Mickelson though to birdie hole #16 and #18 to capture his 1st Major. Nice!!!!!

Was just so happy to see Phil finally win one..have been noticing lately that he seems to enjoy golf so much more..and has much more patience than he used to seem to have..it was just a great finish to see him be in the lead..then behind again..then come back to the lead..and to sink a birdie on the 18'th hole!..between that and the truly touching scene of watching Arnold Palmer play his last masters..I would have to rate this one as the best in my book!
Keep going Phil..the wins are only just beginning!!

I don't even like golf, but since it was a family gatheriing, with the golf nuts, dh and fil, I was outvoted. However, by the end, even I cheered out loud when that putt went in!!! His kids are so cute, loved how they closed the broadcast by re-airing the clip of his daughter waving through the window, so adorable.

I'm a Phil fan, but I was rooting for Ernie. Simply because I wanted the curse/streak to stay alive. I like the BoSox, but I don't want them to win the World Series. Always falling just short is what makes these guys who they are.

I was in the airport catching my flight home and I was praying that there wasn't going to be a playoff because I would have missed it.

When Phil made that putt, I got a little misty-eyed. Good for him! What a well deserved win.

We watched it here, great game with an even greater finish. I was so happy Phil finally got his major win.

Never miss the Masters and never will. Been a Phil fan since 96 when I followed him around Valhalla for the PGA Championship. I love it when he wins because you get to see his wife. ;) :teeth: So glad he got this one off his back and I'm glad it was the Masters, I think he'll win one more major before the year is over.

Correct....The Ladies Professional Golf Association had this past week off between the Office Depot Championship the previous week and the Takefuji Classic next week. Oh, by the way....The men will not be playing in the Takefuji Classic.

I am not a golf fan. I have to admit when I saw it on the news this morning, I wished I had watched it yesterday.
