After nearly broiling in the hot sun at Winter/Summerland (we got behind a family of six who played SO slowly that I thought we'd be there all day--they refused to let us play through, so we just skipped a hole and went by them) I thought how popular an indoor course would be.

A place to get out of the sun and as crowded as the mini courses were when we were there, something that I think would be pretty well received.

Being a miniature golf fan immensely, I would not want a course like that unless is was housed along with a bar, a place to eat, skee ball, pinball machines, and a bunch of other stuff. So yeah, Chuck E Cheese.

I'd rather have the stylings of Disney World miniature golf outside with theming and not surrounded by walls. Yes, it's Florida, yes, it's hot, yes, you will get people who don't let you play through but you will get that at any ocean site of miniature golf as well.

It would have to be a gigantic building to house a good putt putt course. I've only been to one indoor one and it sucked.

The only time we did the Winterland course it was in December about two years ago and we were playing at night when it was about 45-50 degrees out. It felt great

Its better in the evening when playing in the hot months in Florida. Otherwise it is nice in the day the other 8-9 months in the year.

Ocean City Md has 2 very nice indoor courses--always quite full on rainy days and in hot weather. Both 2 levels so the buildings are hardly gigantic---and well themed inside.

IF Old Pro golf could build these , Disney certainly could!!!

The course is mobbed in the cooler evening hours--for good reason!! The last time we tried playing during the evening we were given a Tee time with a 20 minute wait!!

And we were there in early May--near 90 the afternoon we played.
