hehe, yeah, i think it sounds gross too! my mom is weird! and thank you so much for the compliments! definitely splurge, it's so much fun! here's a few more.

Le Cellier has La Fin Du Monde, Maudite, Blanche de Chambly, and Trois Pistoles, all from Unibroue, one of my favorite breweries. The Blanche de Chambly is the lightest of the bunch, at 5% ABV, but the rest have 8-9% ABV.

Fin Du Monde is a Belgian Tripel, and Trois Pistoles and Maudite are Belgian strong dark ales. All four of them are tasty! I'd say the Trois is probably my favorite on a cooler day, and the Blanche on a hotter day.

All of these should be available in a well stocked grocery store or liquor store, as well! All of the liquor stores around me (NW Orlando) usually have at least one or two.

My doctor took me off my medicine...I have not had a drink of alcohol in 18 months! Now, that the medicine is through I can have alcohol again.

In two weeks, I'll be at WDW to celebrate my first drink after a long DRY SPELL!

One of our local grocery stores sells some of it. What we have had is dark. My ex finds it really hard to drink.

Forever, thanks for your help. I have another question. I had this beer in disneyland. Called Red Trolley. Do you have any idea, what type of beer would come closest to this. You seem like a beer expert. So, I am asking you. Thanks!!

I'm definitely not a beer expert, but thanks I love, love, love beer and do try to study as much as I can.

Hmm, looks like an American red ale, one of my favorite types.

Where do you live? I can give you a few suggestions that may be similar, though I haven't had Red Trolley myself.

Fat Tire from New Belgium is great (this may be closest, as it seems Red Trolley really advertises its maltiness)

Red Seal Ale, from North Coast
American Amber Ale from Rogue
Censored Red Ale from Lagunitas

Those are ones I've had, and/or can find easily in well-stocked stores around me, but beer availability depends on distributors. And like I said, I can't be too sure since I haven't had Red Trolley, but try those! Those are all some of my favorite breweries as well.

There's a red ale over at Big River Grill at WDW but I find it a bit hoppy (which I like) which may not suit your needs.

Teppan Edo: A martini whose name now eludes me (I think it might have had sake and plum wine in it?), and sake

Tune-In Lounge: A Patron pomegranate margarita, and a Blue Moon (obviously!)

China pavilion: Green tea plum wine slushie (why did this taste salty? The flavor ruined a perfectly decent boozy beverage...but it didn't stop me from drinking it, I just made faces while doing so!)

Spoodles: A pitcher of sangria

I would love to do this, especially if during the food & wine festival they have smaller samplings of drinks?? Any suggestions on best drinks to get in the WS? I am definitelly trying the Grand marnier Slush in France and a margarita in mexico!

Since you're on the east coast, you're more likely to run into the beers I mentioned. Also, you could try calling or emailing the brewery to see if they know where you could find the beer in NY

Many times My favorites:

Canada: Blanche de Chambly while eating lunch in Le Cellier
UK: Whichever beer I'm up for: Stella, Harp, etc
France: Gran Marnier slush
Morocco: honestly we'll usually skip this country and double up in Canada or UK since we hate Casa beer, and don't like the sweet drinks
Japan: Kirin
US: Sam Adams
Italy: Principessa sparkling wine
Germany: Optimator or Becks, depending on the mood
China: Draft Tsing Tao? The drinks at the Joy of Tea stand are just too sweet for me
Norway: Carlsberg
Mexico: Dos Equis


During FWF, they definitely have smaller portions: usually the wines are more strictly 3oz, and they sometimes have 6oz beers if there's a draft selection.

I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to WDW, do you have to have had ADR's to be able to drink in the restaurants? Or are there some places you can just go to the bar?
