Silly question..... Does the Avocado Margarita taste like Avacado?

It tasted creamy to me, I know that does not answer the question, but that is really all I could think... That it tasted creamy. I really liked it.

We had the Cucumber and jalapeno also, both were very good!

Yeah, more of a banana/melon/cucumber flavor to me (if that makes sense). Very, very good . . . and I am not a margarita fan!

They definitely sound intriguing! Was the jalapeno spicy? The cucumber one sounds very interesting, but cucumbers are rather bland. Did it really taste like cucumber? Sorry to pepper you with questions, but inquiring minds wanna know!

The cucumber was very refreshing, like cold cucumber...
When it was hot while we were there, it was so cool and refreshing, we both enjoyed it very much. So yes it tasted like a cucumber but I think we were more bowled over by the crisp coolness than anything.

The Jalapeno was not spicy, for us, it tasted like a pepper, had that green pepper taste. It was also very refreshing. It tasted good, but if you are looking for something very spicy, that is not the one for you.

I agree, it was very crisp and refreshing. It wasn't hot when we were there in February, but I would imagine it would be even better on a hot Florida day. I went there thinking the blood orange would be my favorite, but after trying blood orange, pineapple, passion fruit, cucumber and avocado, the cucumber and avocado are probably tied for my favorites.

It sounds like a great way to try the different offerings so you'll know what to order full-size. Alternately, does anyone know if it's available at the Hacienda de San Angel?

my question exactly. would love to know too. when we were there last year the week after thanksgiving it wasn't offered on or off menu...at least on the day we were there. we fell in love with this place and i'd love to be able to try a few more flavors in this way.

When I was at La Cava in February, they weren't doing it. I asked about it, and the waitress didn't know what I was talking about. She asked the bartender. She came back and told me they weren't doing it, but she gave me a sample size of a pineapple margarita in addition to the blood orange one that I had ordered. I saw the bartenders doing this a couple of other times when I went in for to go ones later in the week. If there is a little left that doesn't fit in the glass, it seems they sometimes give them out as samples.
