THAT would have been fun, but no. Actually, the pop rocks are already in the glass; then they slowly pour the martini into the glass - which makes it bubble up. I did kinda get that "fizzy" taste when drinking it. It was a little sweet, but good!

It's across from Chefs de France in a cart(kiosk) that sells wine, champagne and these luscious frozen concoctions. There's tables and chairs to the right of it, great to sit and watch Illuminations with a few of these babies to sip on.:goodvibes

FYI - those drinks are usually served in plastic martini glasses; very fancy looking, but not practical for walking around. You can request that they put it in regular plastic cup - greatly reduces the spillage!:thumbsup2

BTW - great pix of alcohol, TigerKat!

TigerKat, thanks for saving the thread...your trip must have been great, hope you remember going. I look forward to trying some of these beverages on our next trip. I will be pulling for your Tigers and all the other SEC teams in the bowl games....good luck. :santa: :rolleyes1

Kathy (TigerKat), Great pics!!!

I LOVED those frozen concoctions from France!!! The orange one was great too!

Funny thing happened yesterday...just after viewing your drink pics, I went into a drawer in the kitchen and the glow cubes we brought home from our last trip were glowing. Wierd, huh?

Gee I wish I'd known that about the cups. We'd sit down to drink them for that exact reason (can't spill that stuff)!:rotfl:

Very weird, must be a hidden meaning behind that.:rotfl2:

My favorite drink during our stay at the Polynesian, the pina-colva, yum! I bought one of these almost every night during our stay at the bar by the pool. The other drink is a non alcoholic strawberry slushie for ds. I would love to have one of these now :thumbsup2
