How about pictures of alcoholic drinks?

I loooove the fruity drinks, but rum doesn't agree with me. I am staying at the Poly. Has anyone had them sub tequila for the rum???? I did not see too many fruit drinks on the menu without the rum.

I really want to try some of them!!
I DONT CARE FOR REGULAR RUM EITHER :headache: BUT HAVE U EVER TRIED COCONUT RUM!! YUMMY :thumbsup2 IF THAT DONT WORK I THINK TEQUILA WOULD WORK ALSO :hyper: TRY IT U JUST MIGHT LIKE IT!!!!!

I like to taste a little "kick", too. Thanks for the info.

Any other drinks you can taste the alcohol?

I like the rum runner (rocks) and goombay smash at the the AK Dawa bar (especially if Sharon is making them). Most of the 'tini' drinks at the Crew's Cup and Bellevue Lounge are very good. We always like to try the fiesta margarita at Epcot but they are very hit and miss. We usually get one to split and if it's the got the proper kick order a second rather than ordering two to start. Haven't been very impressed with any of the pool bar drinks (and we've stayed a pretty much every Disney hotel).

My best Disney drinking tip is if you are a Tanqueray & Tonic person like me (or Beefeater), always order a double...they only charge a $1.50 more...now I've given away my best Disney secret.

He he...... Martini and White Russain at AKL Victoria Lounge.... MIL and FIL drinking waaaayyyyy too much!!!

What kind of martini is that? It looks sort of like a cosmopolitan but better! December can't come soon enough!

The Tune In Lounge next to 50's Prime Time has Singapore Slings and they will knock you out:)

:woohoo: I'll be sure to include it in the itenerary- Thanks, Patricia!!! (And thank goodness for Disney transportation. . .)

Good tips, Tommie, thanks! I can relate to the fiesta margarita problem because sometimes when I order a frozen marg at our favorite Mexican joint I can't taste a thing, so I have to order them "Texas" style. There isn't anything on this earth as disappointing as a virgin margarita.:rotfl2:

I'm more of a vodka tonic girl than gin, but I would imagine your "trick" works with those, too. Thanks, again, I really appreciate it!

Cutest pictures I've seen all day, and that's saying something considering I hit cuteoverload.com every hour! Thanks for sharing.

I do remember, however, that it was yummy!!!!

i thought i took more alcoholic pictures, we sure had enough, and we've got 9 or 10 glow cubes to prove it :rotfl: . adult trips rule!

Marcia -- What did you think about the Grey Goose slush? I think that would be right up my alley...

It's a Tangierine Daiquiri, and I bought it at the back of the Tangierine. It was flavorful, but not too strong. And it came in a plastic glass with "Tangierine" written on it, making that an nice and unexpected keepsake.
