How about another Thanksgiving thread? Do you get dressed up?

We normally do jeans and some sort of non-tshirt shirt, nothing fancy.

When this baby is born I will probably dress him/her up for the holidays because I love dressing up little kids ;)

We dress up (dress/skirt, button down shirts for my guys, no jeans etc), but by the time we're on dessert seconds, the shoes come off, the sweater comes off and a t-shirt goes on with the skirt.

I am usually a hot mess by the time I am finished with the feast. All I want to do is sit down and eat, so it is jeans and a decent shirt. Nobody has ever complained or requested differently. When my son was younger, he always requested a candle lit dinner. Yeah, that goes well. Jeans and candle light.

No - we were always casual.. I just can't enjoy a meal when I'm all gussied up.. (Probably why I'm not a big fan of weddings & receptions..LOL.. I hate to get dressed up - for anything..)

Depends. If we go out wear nice shirt and jean capris or jeans. If we are at family house real casual. Shorts and tshirts. This year we are eating out so not too sure how I will dress. It is suppose to be warm here too. I hate dressing up when its hot out!

We used to, but now it it more of a jeans and a nice shirt kind of day

We usually wear nice jeans or khakis and a sweater. No one gets real fancy. We save that for Christmas Eve!

Dressy casual for us. If we are going to someone else's house I do not let my kids wear jeans with rips, graphic tees or hoodies. If we are home I don't make a big deal about it but since they are used to wearing a little bit nicer clothes for the holiday they usually don't.

We dress up for our church service in the AM then race home and change into comfy clothes for the remainder of the day.

Jeans and tees, no beer slogans though. If I'm not going to work, a wedding, or a restaurant with a dress code, I am not dressing up. :)

Strictly casual. Didn't feel like dealing with ANY drama this year, so it's out to a restaurant, send the kid with the grandparents, and off to the friend's oh so awesome hot tub with the big screen so we can watch football.

Casual comfy clothes for all of us! No need to get dressed up to sit around the living room or run around a hot kitchen. It's a day to relax and really, who can relax in dressy clothes?

It suppose be warm this year. Shorts and t-shirit

Casual at both my aunt's and DH's grandma's. I usually wear jeans and a sweater. BIL will be the only one sporting a beer shirt.

Jeans and a t-shirtish type top. No dressing up for us on Thanksgiving Day.
