Buffalo National River, AR - Miles downriver from any place a card could get to, but you can drive to other similar spots.

Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, CA - About 1/8 mile from the parking area

Garden of the Gods, CO - Taken from the parking area

Rocky Mountain National Park, CO - About 1/4 mile from the parking area

Goose Island State Park, TX - 100 feet from the parking area

Enchanted Rock, TX - On a 2 mile hike

Arches National Park, UT - At the end of a 4 mile hike

Banff National Park, AB - 100 feet from the parking area

Jasper National Park, AB - 100 feet from the parking area

Horne Lake Caverns Provincial Park, BC - 100 feet from the parking area

Pacific Rim National Park, BC - 1/4 mile walk down the beach from the parking area

Mount Revelstoke National Park, BC - 1/2 mile hike from the parking area

Wells Gray Provincial Park, BC - 1/8 mile walk from the parking area

wow, i really need to get out west! are most of your yosemite, Canada photos a long distance hike or pretty accessible?( ie 1/2 mile or less)

Northern California. All taken in my baby days of digital photography with my Canon A85. Oh how I wish I had the DSLR at that point!

Richardson State Park (easily walked):

Point Reyes National Seashore (SO NOT easily walked - MILES of trails though):

We still had to go ALL the way over the farthest hump out there to get back to the car. Note the person on the trail for a distance perspective.

Although I do have several from Yosemite that required some amount of hiking the ones I posted above are all very accessible.

Hike? Not if you don't want to, most of our Yosemite photos were taken within 1/4 mile from the car.

Nope, not sensor smutz. That is a real person. We walked miles and miles that day. DD6 kept up with us every step and never complained. Now that she is 8, she would complain.
