I think one thread would become quite confusing and that readers wouldn't always be able to tell which service a given post was about. Separate threads, which already exist, are better. Readers who want to keep up with both only need to click "Watch" at the top of any page in that thread.

Whether in the same thread or separate ones they are likely to become long as more people experience them.
