We are headed back to Disney in October. We are considering making PS for Cape May Clam Bake. Please post your reviews.

OREO BON-BONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For a chocolate lover, those alone make the buffet worthwhile. But the rest of the buffet is good too. CM has one of the best dessert offerings for a buffet at WDW (do I sound dessert focused?). The main food is good too. It's not just seafood, as I don't eat seafood. There are a few non seafood choices for main dishes (bbq ribs, a chicken, beef stroganoff) and sides - all of which are good (the last time I was there I thought the ribs were very good for a buffet - much better than I expected). And the children's buffet (which I frequent since I'm not an adventurous eater) is the best I've sampled. I'm not the only adult that has commented on how good the chicken strips are on the kid's section.

Must-do for us now.

We had dinner there last October. The food was good and plentiful. I'm a huge clam and shrimp fan, so I skipped over most of the other entree selections and headed straight for these. Unfortunately, we had two preschoolers in tow that were five hours jetlagged (poor choice for our first night on vacation), so they were tired and cranky, and DH & I felt we were rushed and didn't get our money's worth. That wasn't Disney's fault -- we should have considered that and went with sandwiches at the food court the first night, saving this for later so we could enjoy it fully. The few things I ate before the kids went into meltdown (peel & eat shrimp, steamed clams, and some really amazing potato dish) were all really good, and I hope to try it again in the future.

I've eaten there twice now and really enjoyed it more the second time than the first. I think the first time I was having an off night not CM. I enjoyed the clams, mussels, and carved to order prime rib, but my favorite thing I found was this broccoli slaw that was just delicious. The buffet is shaped like a U and this slaw is on the end of the U. I don't have a PS for there this trip, but I'm certain I'll be back there in the future.

We love the Cape May and do the clam bake every trip. Even if you don't like seafood, there's plenty of other yummy foods for you (and also for picky children.)

We eat here a lot because it is easy and plentiful when staying at epcot area resorts. We have never had a "bad" meal and always leave plenty full. We especially like the breakfast buffet with the characters running around. Chip and Dale crack me up the way that they fawn over you and pretend to steal you from your DH.

Cape May is our favorite restaurant. We found out about twp years ago when we were there for our wedding anniversary. We were trying to make ressies for Boma at the last minute. They were way too busy for last minute people. A sweet CM at the AKL Guest Relations was trying tohelp us find a place to eat and mentioned the Cape May was her fav. SHe said they had PS for us within that hour, so we took it.

We were not dissappointed! It was wonderful. Because it was our anniversary, they were extra specialnice. our waitress was just the best. Can't remember her name right now, but we always ask for her when we're there. The first two times we went, they had Teeriyaki Beef Tips. Oh my goodness!! These were to die for. SO tender and flavorful. Now they serve Prime rib. Which is good, but I'm tellin ya, those tips were the "BOMB"!!!

The seafood is so good. I love the steamed muscles and Clams. So sweet. Peel and eat shrimp...ribs, stroganoff, sauteed veggies, smashed taters, corn on the cob, steamed red potatoes.
And the salad bar is just terrific, and yes that brocollli salad is the best. I make it at home. Easy and delicious!

As someone else said, the dessert bar is the best I'v ever seen. And the very best is the Oreo Bon Bons! You've gotta save room for them. The flan is nice and light, not to sweet.

If you haven't been there you must try it. Oh at the end of our meal the first time, our waitress brought us some salt water taffy. I commented it was my favorite candy. She brought my a bag full. YUM!!!

Anyway, we go there on our special trips if we're there for a long weekend. It will be our first meal when we arrive for our anniversary week in late July! We can't wait.

Blessings,
Winnie

DH and I went at easter. We had a nice little out of the way table for 2. Definetely make a ps as its always busy and packed. We actually werent feeling like seafood, but we always go. We started off with beef barley soup which was fantastic. DH loves the ambrosia salad on the salad bar. I enjoy the cold shrimp. I had the beef dish that night. It tasted like beef burgundy tips with mushrooms. Very good. The flan on the dessert table was excellent with fresh berries. We got the first servings since the chef was just bringing it out when we were up there. The seafood offerings are plentiful and the steamed clams are non stop. Didnt try the corn as I'm allergic. You will not be disappointed.

Okay - I am sold - Sounds like we are going to Cape May. Counting the days til I can start making PS.

Thanks for the replies. You guys are great as always. My son, husband and myself LOVE OREOs.

We are going to the Cape May Buffet on our July vacation and will post a review when we return. ::yes::
