How 1 trip turned to 2 and now turning into 3!! Update Pg 40 Days 3, 4 and 5!!

You're right. Your/mine lists will never end. That's because we are the moms silly!
Cleaning actually went very well. I cleaned and rearranged the downstairs today. I crawled under the stairs to get out the Halloween decorations and um... they're in the attic! Dangit!!!!
Harvey fixed the kid's car so I will be able to go out tomorrow and hopefully join the work force.
I've rented a carpet cleaner from Home Depot for like $40 for the night. It worked pretty well for me.
So, that's about it for me. I'll let you know what happens tomorrow.
Have a good day back at work! :surfweb:

I love that you got the ambition to go under the stairs and they were in the attic! :rotfl2: Dan had to go through like 12 totes in the garage to find the Halloween stuff (I would have but am afraid a snake is living back there and will get me!) :rotfl: I make him open the stuff outside and make sure nothing's in it then it can come in!

Good luck today! :goodvibes

I would not have thought of Home Depot! I'll have to run there on my lunch today. Thanks for that! $40 isn't too bad considering my carpet looks like crap! :rotfl:

Yes back at work today...thankfully and not so much. Corbin threw a fit again today but I'm sure he's fine. Dan's supposed to be home on Friday before they go to bed....we'll see.

I worry more about spiders than I do snakes. I did, however, find a deceased cricket. Belly side up :rotfl:
When I told Harv about the attic, he kinda did one of those huffy, giggle things and said that Travis could help him get it down. K, so it's still up there. :rolleyes1
I think it's hilarious that you make Dan open the boxes. Like, hey big daddy, you get bit first, then I'll know it's o.k. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I'll be getting ready to head out. My goldendoodle woke me up to go outside this morning at 5. So then all I thought of was job, job and more job. Like, what am I going to say and I hope I can get one not working weekends. I'll let you know.
Have a good one.

Well the spiders here I'm not as worried about. The county that I live in is the county that they collect poisonus (sp?) snakes to make the anti-venim so I've got some things to worry about! I was at the fire station the other night for the Auxiliary meeting and the guys told us to be careful where we walked outside when we left. We didn't know what they were talking about and they brought us a baby water moccasain (sp?) that they killed by our pond :scared1: Poor cricut...hope he had a good life! I'm sure he died happy looking at your stuff!:rotfl:

Love that your hubby's going to have your son help get the stuff down. Sounds like at my house...it'll be the day before when they get it down and then they'll be mad because you didn't go all out and decorate even though you're going to take it down in two days!:rotfl2:

I love that you think it's funny that I make Dan open the boxes. You made me laugh out loud at work today! :lmao: The guys just look at me and keep going. He has to open everything outside. If he brings it in and it doesn't look like he opened it or moved stuff around, it goes back out. I can't risk anything getting in my house.

Right after we moved here, it wasn't even a week I don't think!-I'd taken the boys out for a walk or something and came home and had them play in the playroom. Carter couldn't walk yet so I went to set him down and all I saw was a tail. :scared1: I made them go in the master bedroom (we have windows that look out into the playroom). I called Dan and made him come home right away. When he asked what it was all I could say was that it had a tail. He and Sandy (the guy going to Disney with us in Dec) thought this was HILLARIOUS! I did NOT find the humor. The boys thought it was very cool and watched a LIZARD climb around the playroom. Dan and Sandy finally caught it-they smushed him with one of the toy box shelf things in the playroom. Poor little fella. Shoulda stayed outside! We haven't had anything in here since and I don't want that to change at all!:rotfl: Although we do seem to have ants in the house and Corbin's scared of them because he's afraid they're going to bite him. So I cleaned the carpets tonight and got some ant traps. Hopefully that takes care of our problem.

How'd the job hunting go?? Hopefully well!!! They'd be crazy not to snap you up! :goodvibes

I got our photopass CD today so I have to look at the pictures and put them in photobucket this weekend to share with everyone! I hope they're awesome! I also found a way to not have to buy a new photopass for Dec....check out my PTR for that info!!!:thumbsup2

I found something on the budget board that I think I'm going to suggest to the grandparents last year-four gifts: something you need, something to wear, something to read and something you want. The boys are young enough now that they don't really care about anything really as long as they get a couple of toys they're fine really. Corbin cares about clothes so as long as he gets a couple of new shirts he'll be happy.

So I got an email that my photos were "extended" for an additional 30 days from the date that I ordered the photo cd. So I emailed to ask for another extension to past our Dec trip dates. They said they couldn't extend anything that long but for every purchase I make, they extend the life of my pictures another 30 days. So, what I have to do (what I asked VERY specifically) is log in before my 30 days are up and order something-anything at all. Then, before those 30 days are up, I need to order the next thing. Every time I order, they extend the account 30 more days. Then when I get back from Dec, I can just add the pictures in then and order another cd. :woohoo: I still have my code for my "free" cd since I pre-ordered this time so hopefully that'll work again. If our friends do photopass, I'll just add their stuff to my cd and order the "extra" one for another $20.

Hopefully my master plan works out!

Alright...need to play with the boys for a bit before bed time.

Well, you returned the favor to me by making me laugh out loud when I read that you laughed out loud! :rotfl2: Good thing I didn't have anything in my mouth at the time, or I'd have spewed it all over my computer.:rotfl: Thanks for that.
I don't like crawly bugs, flying bugs, or fast moving by your feet bugs. So, I totally feel for Carter. Poor little guy. I hope you can get rid of them.
As far as snakes go, my son has one for a pet. Yes, I know. Scream if you want to. Cringe and say you won't be my friend anymore. (that one, just kidding) So anyway, about this snake. I've held it and fed it and it's o.k. It's a Ball Python and it's pretty alright. I've discovered that snakes in the wild move faster than snakes in a cage. I probably would pee myself if I saw a water moccasin. Those are one of the reasons why I don't swim in lakes and ponds. EEWWWW!!!
And lizards are o.k. if they're outside. My dad was stationed in Hawaii and we used to get Gecko's in the house. I freaked out on my mom one night cuz there was one on the livingroom. :scared1: See, the Geckos in Hawaii are see through, so you can see their insides. GROSS! And, they eat cockroaches and after they eat one they make a clicky sound.
So, now that I've had the snake/lizard conversation, on to the job situation. I went to the Admin building and put a face with the name. She thanked me for coming in and said that she would pull my application. She also told me that they're going thru 150-200 applications. So, we'll see. I've done all that I can with that.
I filled out an application at the Disney Store. That one I'm not to sure about. Unless they can put me on the stock crew, I don't think I'll be going there. They want weekend hours and I just can't give that right now. Not with everything the kids have going on. JC Penny either. Same thing there. SO, we'll see.
The novel of Lisa is complete for the night. Maybe I'll win a spot on the New York best selling authors list. :rolleyes1
Have a good night!

I'm glad you didn't spew anything! I can't buy you a new computer! :rotfl:

See Corbin wants a pet and we're going to have to get something gross and hairless like that and I just can't let it happen. And again I'm laughing when I'm supposed to be answering the phones! Thank goodness it was just one of the guys calling! Of couse it's one that picks on my all the time so it was ok! :goodvibes I'm laughing because you've tested that snakes in cages don't move as fast? :confused3 Just wanted to be sure of that :rotfl: Is it because there's not as much room for them to move or because they've been "domisticated"? :rotfl2: I think we'll stick with the plan to get the boys a fish tank!

I have to disagree with lizards being ok too....blah! And when they make their neck/throat puff out that's really gross too. And the travel agents of the world thank you for talking me out of going to Hawaii! :rotfl: I cannot go there with see through lizards who's food still makes noise after they eat it! :scared1:

Good thing you put a face with a name-hopefully that'll help. The number of applicants sounds a bit crazy though. If they're anything like the ones we get here, about a third of them are actually worth taking the time to interview but we've got to let everyone test and interview and make our decision from that. I'm sure you'll do wonderfully! Disney store would be fun too.

I'd buy your book if you wrote one. I'm sure it'd be a best seller with shark attacks, pet snakes, Disney trips and kids driving you crazy. That covers just about everyone in America! :rotfl:

Have you stopped at the Disney store in St. Augustine? They have great buys on pins and everthing Disney. It is a cleareance center. Just stopped there last week and got pins for Downtown Disney to trade. Thought I would mention this to you.

Hi See I made it over. Lots to catch up on:goodvibes

Let see where to start, got to get my notebook:rotfl2:

Wedding Renewal, that would be wonderful. I would love to be your wedding planner:banana: I have planned two daughters and I thought that they where very nice, The youngest daughter wedding was Cinderalla themedprincess: and I sure I would not charged one penny over $10,000:laughing:
That is a lot a money aren't that any different plans.
But then again a Disney wedding would be worth every penny:dance3:

Spiders, Snakes, and Lizards OH! My!

I do not LIKE snakes! actually I am very afaird if them:scared1: !!!!!!
At the Zoo I walk on the other side of path from where they are displayed and I dont look at them.
At work they think it funny to put one in my register every once in a while.
Will see what my manager says when he has to fiil out a Workman comp report because thay gave me a heart attack!
It's O.K Lisa your still my friend:)
I hope your job hunting is going well:thumbsup2
Pets are good for kids:goodvibes my daughters had a dog,her name was princess we had her 18 years, we also have cats, I love my kitty cat:lovestruc

I will have to check out the photopass info.
Looking forward to see the pictures from the CD:cool1:

o.k I know I missed some thing:confused:
guess I have to go back and reread:surfweb:

Welcome back Grace!

Vow Renewal-unfortunelty the $10,000 is the "budget" option! :rotfl2: Who knows. Our real wedding was the day after tax day so I'm sure that's peak spring break time at Disney so we wouldn't do it then anyways. Also, you can only book one year in advance of your date so it's luck of the numbers to see if your date is even available by the time you get through. :sad2:

Pets- Corbin's allergic to dogs and cats so we can't do that. He's also allergic to grass, trees, peanuts, shellfish, garlic-I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting. So I'm limited as to what he can get. We're going with fish for the time being...maybe Santa will bring them. Or maybe we'll get them when we move into the new house if we find one.

Yeah I've got to get them saved onto my computer so I can get them up for you guys! :goodvibes There are some freakin adorable ones on there! I can't wait to share!

Alright...I'm exhausted tonight so as soon as Corbin falls asleep I'm going to bed too!

Thanks! I think that's where we tried to stop on the way home but I went to the wrong outlet mall :headache: It's on the schedule to stop on the way down or back in Dec but I need to get better directions this time!

Thanks so much for the tip!! I love finding deals!!!

What a great way to start my morning, laughing!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: As far as domesticating a snake? Um... not so much. I don't know why they move slower. I guess maybe the ones that I saw as a kid were those garter snakes? And those babies moved quick, scared the CRAP outta me! Since you know longer what to go to Hawaii, ;) , I didn't even tell you about the 2 inch flying cockroaches!!! Those things would squat down on their legs, then pop up and run. Gives me the willies thinking about it. Seriously, I just go a shiver.
We had a fish for 2 1/2 years. He just joined the fish of the sea about a month ago. I don't mind fish, but their tanks get dirty. Although, mine was just a gold fish in a bowl. :rotfl2:
I can't believe that Carter is allergic to garlic. I've never even heard of a garlic allergy. That's crazy! You poor lady. So can he play outside with the grass allergy or is it just the fresh cut grass that really gets him? We don't have allergies here in this house. But, my DSis is allergic to cats, mold, dust and fresh cut grass, plus she has asthmsa and so she never has her windows open.
Haven't heard from jobs yet. We'll see. I took my aluminum cans to the recycle place yesterday. Yeah, well I got $3.34 for 3 1/2 garbage bags full. Spent a gallon of gas getting to and from. So I think that I made about $1!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: So, I won't be collecting them anymore. Too much for not enough. Harvey and I just laughed. It was so funny. We took bets on how much we'd get.
Hey, your DH comes home tomorrow. I hope he and Sandy (name right?) travel home safely. Have a great day!!!

I'm so glad I'm still your friend. My DS saved his money to buy a snake. This is actually our second snake. Our first one got bit by its prey and got sick and we had to put it to sleep the day we left for Disney in 2006. It was very sad, and I can't believe that I cried over a da*@ snake! I like cats, but my sister is VERY allergic and my DH only likes kittens, so we have dogs.

What a great way to start my morning, laughing!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: As far as domesticating a snake? Um... not so much. I don't know why they move slower. Hey, your DH comes home tomorrow. I hope he and Sandy (name right?) travel home safely. Have a great day!!!

Ok laughing like a crazy person about "fish of the sea" :lmao: :rotfl2: And then the next line is classic "I don't mind fish, but their tanks get dirty.":lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That's hillarious!!!

We had a fish tank when Corbin was a baby back in MI. When I got sick of cleaning the tank, Dan thought he'd just flush the fish. The darned thing got stuck in toilet! His dad had to come down and take the toilet off the floor, take it out in my front yard and fish the fish out of it! Disgusting!!!

Corbin has all of the allergies and yup he's allergic to garlic. He's also allergic to mold, horses, just about everything. His friend that lives across the street has dogs and tells Corbin he can't play because he'll "get dead" if he comes in the house! :rotfl: We have to be careful when people cut the grass close to our house-Corbin can't be outside with all that blowing around in the air. He also has problems when he's out playing football or something in the grass with the kids. He's ok just outside playing but once he starts rolling around in the grass, his eyes start to turn red and swell up.

We used to have deposits on cans in MI but they don't here-it's so weird to just throw them out! I agree-it doesn't much sound like it's worth your time for a couple of bucks! Give that job to one of the kids to return them! :rotfl:

Yes the boys have graduation in the morning and are planning to be on the road right after that. Dan told Corbin he'd be home before they went to bed so we'll see if that happens. Dan said it took 11 hours to get there so if graduation's at 9 (it is-I already checked!) and it's about an hour or so long (again, already checked on this!), they won't be home until like 9:30. Poor Carter won't be able to make it that long! Heck I won't be able to make it that long! :rotfl: I'm exhausted today! I can't wait to sleep in my own bed tomorrow!! I've been sleeping on the couch since my bedroom's kind of far away from the boys and Carter's hard to hear sometimes. I'm ready to be back in my own bed and sleep in for one day!

Alrighty...I need to try and get some stuff done tonight while I still can. I'm telling ya...as soon as the boys fall asleep tonight, I'm right behind them! :rolleyes1

Hey all!

No update tonight unfortunetly! I spent some time over on the Creative DISigns board. I've started a thread asking the AMAZING DISigners over there to see if I can get any DISigns done for Jill in case they cannot fix her computer. Hopefully that will perk her up a little bit when she checks back in with us. (Personally, can't wait until my computer's fixed so I can DISign again!!! After making our shirts and getting so many compliments I cannot wait to share that feeling with other people! :goodvibes )

So, this was going to come later too....THANK YOU DISIGNERS!!!:worship: :worship: :worship:

You helped to make our trip even more magical and wonderful than it already was! I cannot wait to make our shirts/room decorations for December!!!

LYNN!!! You are just too wonderful! This totally made me cry again!
I also second that Thank you to the designers!!!! Seriously everyone here is just so wonderful.
I wasn’t going to comment till I got all caught up with your TR but so much keeps getting in the way that I have only been able to read it in bits and pieces. But this did it for me I am dropping everything to read this to the end!! I have been keeping notes on some stuff I wanted to comment on so here goes.

*Where in DTD did you have to go to exchange your AP voucher and do you get the DDE at the same place?

*I absolutely LOVE the pic of the 5 of you in front of the castle!

*The castle cake looks great! I want one too.

*How much was Corbin’s BBB, he looked so adorable. How long did it take you to get it out of his hair? Would you do it again? I am planning to go to the Harmony Barber shop to get Leon’s haircut, I am not going to have them do the cool dude, but I will do something like it myself. I bought blue colored hairspray and I will either buy or make my own Mickey stencil and do a design on the sides of his head.

*How is the adoption thing going? I am so glad that you guys put your names in for consideration. You just have sooo much love to give. Heck I want to be adopted by you.
Seriously though, you really are the whole package. A great mom, a terrific wife, an awesome friend, a beautiful woman, and just an all around amazing person. Everyone you touch is lucky to have you as part of their life.

*OMG The picture of Carter with Daisy is just too funny. It looks like she is eating his head

*The Boo to You Parade and the Fireworks pics are so great. What setting did you use on your camera for the fireworks?

*Okay so I am excited to try the Jungle Juice now, but what is it exactly?

*LISA – Holy mackeral! I totally remember reading about your hubby’s story when it first happened. I am or was (before Leon) an avid SCUBA diver. I’ve always worried about sharks on dives. I am so glad your DH survived that horrible situation. I wish him and your family all the best.

* What’s going on wit the kids? Why are they wakeing up at all hours?

* Hey we like the same music!

My "fun" for today (since I didn't take a lunch due to too much work!) was booking a co-worker a dinner cruise for Friday night. She's such a super friend (like my DIS friends!) and truly a person I strive very much to be like every day-caring about others, putting them before yourself, being just a wonderful person.

Are you kidding girl? You are already there!

For those who care:

Jill's BACK!!

You'll have to go check out her update!!

Okay you just made me spit my Fresca out all over my keyboard! You are hysterical!
I love you

I think I left you hanging with our first TSM ride and meeting McQueen and Mater and left you hanging to see who we would meet before our next TSM ride.

****Note: I did something here I don't normally do....I let Dan take the pictures! That's right...I was willing to have pictures of the boy's heads missing or something like that. The deal was he could take pictures at the "stations" so long as he gave the camera back before meeting Buzz and Woody.

DisneyPicturesDay4083.jpg

Aaaaaaaaah! I can’t see pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m blind, I’m blind! No wait you just need to upgrade. How much is it? I’ll pay for it.

Yes he was in true form with his big hat pictures! He loves to look at the different bathrooms and doesn't like to wait in line unless it's something he really wants to do and it's going to be fast. He'll learn though...

I am worried about Leon and lines too. I talked my mom into getting him a Leapfrog Didj for him to play while we are on line. Hopefully this will keep him occupied.

I went to BB today to get some Wii games since Santa's bringing us a Wii for Christmas. I had paperwork to pricematch TRU but forgot the paperwork at home. :headache: I ended up getting some help from a wonderful person at the Customer Service desk but then a ditsy clerk and rude manager (I think she was a manager). I've got to go back tomorrow and have them fix the transaction so I can get more money back.

Corbin noticed I wasn't very happy when we were getting in the van and asked why I was mad. I told him that girl was not using her manners and was rude. He told me to give him all of their names and he would teach them good manners! :rotfl2: That made me feel much better right there! What a good kid!

We stopped at Sonic on the way home-a "shush" as Carter calls it always makes us feel better! :goodvibes

Leon wants a Wii so badly, I just really hope he doesn’t ask Santa for one. We just can’t afford it and so far Santa has never let Leon down. Last year Leon wrote a letter to Santa and asked for a $75 RC Car. I did not want to spend that much and when I tried to tell him that sometimes Santa can’t get you everything you ask for, he responded with “Don’t worry mom, Santa won’t let me down” …..Yeah he got the RC Car.

Corbin is such a great kid!

I wish we had a Sonic here! Love Sonic!

Alrighty...I need to try and get some stuff done tonight while I still can. I'm telling ya...as soon as the boys fall asleep tonight, I'm right behind them! :rolleyes1

Woo Hoo! Check it out I made it to the end!!!
I am all caught up! It took me all day but I did it!

:rolleyes1

I laughed my butt of when I read about the poor fish getting stuck! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I let my fish die ALL THE WAY before I flushed him. It took him 2 DAYS to kick it! K, so speaking of things getting stuck in the toilet, we were right? One night Harvey and I were out and my oldest calls and says that the toilet is over flowing. K, so plunge it and clean it up. Then about 3 min later she calls back and says that it's not working. K, we go home to find that Abby flushed an APPLE down the toilet because she didn't like/want it. AND, someone had taken a poo poo. Oh my GOSH! It was so disgusting. :rotfl: I am laughing just thinking about it!! :rotfl: :rotfl: We had to take the toilet off of the floor and into the tub. My husband was covered in poop. The apple was stuck in the curves of the toilet, so I had to try and get it out with a hanger, and then I ended up having to cut some of it away so we could get it out. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: And to make it worse, we didn't even start this until midnight! We didn't get done until 1 a.m.
I chuckled a little when you said that Corbin says "he'll get dead" if he plays in his friends house, because of the dog. :rotfl: Kids are TOO cute!
Don't have much time today. One of the cheer moms is coming over today to help me make shakers for the cheer competition tomorrow. Travis is dressing for varsity football tonight and so we are going to that. Oh, I forgot to tell you that I have a job interview at 4 today at JC Penny. We'll see. I'll let you know. And, I have to be on the road to Columbus at 5 a.m. tomorrow.
I hope your DH makes it home safely tonight and that you can actually get some SLEEP!!! I'll talk to you later. Have a good one!!

Thank you Jill for your well wishes. Yes, you read about my DH. I've heard that if you're a diver you're less likely to get attacked because you're IN the water with them, not on top. Believe it or not, my DH wants to take dive lessons so that he can dive in Hawaii/Mexico one day. You won't catch me diving!

LYNN!!! You are just too wonderful! This totally made me cry again!
I also second that Thank you to the designers!!!! Seriously everyone here is just so wonderful.

Yes they are amazing-including you!! :goodvibes

I wasn’t going to comment till I got all caught up with your TR but so much keeps getting in the way that I have only been able to read it in bits and pieces. But this did it for me I am dropping everything to read this to the end!! I have been keeping notes on some stuff I wanted to comment on so here goes.

I'm so glad you're finally here!!!:worship:

*Where in DTD did you have to go to exchange your AP voucher and do you get the DDE at the same place?

Yes we did both at the same place-I think it was called "Guest Services" right outside/next to the World of Disney store in DTD

*I absolutely LOVE the pic of the 5 of you in front of the castle!

Thank you!

*The castle cake looks great! I want one too.

Maybe if you're good Mickey will get you one while you're there!

Corbin's hair was $7.50. It really didn't take long-you can see it in the pictures following the actual MNSSHP but we hadn't tried to wash it at that point and he wouldn't let us comb it all ALL! The night we got home, he took a shower and it came right out (that was 2 days later I think). I would do it again-maybe at the barber shop or the DTD location if I was going to do it again. He wasn't thrilled with all the princess motief. He told our friend (his new girlfriend!) Angie at dinner the other night that it was "so embarassing" to be in there with all the girls. All she did to make the Mickey head was make three circles with a q-tip. It too a LONG time to dry! Hopefully yours won't take so long to dry!

:flower3: Thank you so much for the kind words-you certainly did not need to do that!!! I'm glad you feel that way-I certainly don't look at myself that way. No new update on the adoption. I talked to Angie about it at dinner the other night and she really wants to be considered as well. She's going to talk to her husband as soon as Dan drops him off tonight. He's on the fence but she's got a lot of people praying for her so I hope it works. If they decide to be considered, Dan and I will step out since they're wonderful and cannot have children. They would just be the cutest parents in the whole wide world.

*OMG The picture of Carter with Daisy is just too funny. It looks like she is eating his head

It really does but it's just so cute! That's one of the "downfalls" of those darned costumes!

*The Boo to You Parade and the Fireworks pics are so great. What setting did you use on your camera for the fireworks?

I just turned the flash off-that's why some of them are so darned blurry!

*Okay so I am excited to try the Jungle Juice now, but what is it exactly?

I wish you could buy this in the store! I think he said it's orange, gauva and tangerine or some kind of juice. It was sweet but not too sweet. It reminded me a lot of raspberry lemonade but not that sweet. That's probably a really bad association! :rotfl:

*LISA – Holy mackeral! I totally remember reading about your hubby’s story when it first happened. I am or was (before Leon) an avid SCUBA diver. I’ve always worried about sharks on dives. I am so glad your DH survived that horrible situation. I wish him and your family all the best.

I still can't believe it even after reading everything! So thankful he's here and everything's good!

* What’s going on wit the kids? Why are they wakeing up at all hours?

Those are just my boys! :rotfl: Corbin's an early riser-always has been-even was at Disney after running all over all day long. I've been trying to keep his naps down to about an hour every day and keeping him up until about 8:30 at night so he'll sleep in.

* Hey we like the same music!

Well that's awesome!!

Are you kidding girl? You are already there!

No I've got a lot of work to do! :goodvibes Thank you for thinking that but I complain way too much! That's one of my goals-to not complain as much.

Okay you just made me spit my Fresca out all over my keyboard! You are hysterical!
I love you

DON'T BREAK THE COMPUTER!!!! Plastic wrap it first next time to keep it safe!:rotfl:

Aaaaaaaaah! I can’t see pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m blind, I’m blind! No wait you just need to upgrade. How much is it? I’ll pay for it.

:rotfl2: Ithink they'll be back on the 21st the email said-only a couple more days. Over the weekend I'm going to save the photopass pictures and everything so they'll be there to see on Tuesday:thumbsup2

I am worried about Leon and lines too. I talked my mom into getting him a Leapfrog Didj for him to play while we are on line. Hopefully this will keep him occupied.

If it was for something he wanted to do, there wasn't a problem with the line. I've got some mini bottles of bubbles too I'm going to send you to keep for your line waiting. Hopefully he'll entertain others while you're in line too and make some new friends while waiting.

That is too cute! Can he make a list from a certain book like TRU, Kmart, Sears, whatever with some "rules" from Santa??? Maybe Santa could mail him the booklets with a letter about how busy things have gotten this year and asking all of the good boys and girls to choose from one of these books to give him time to make toys for everyone or something like that??

Corbin is such a great kid!

Thanks-we think so too!

I wish we had a Sonic here! Love Sonic!

My favorite "pick me up" is an orange slushie!:cloud9:

Woo Hoo! Check it out I made it to the end!!!
I am all caught up! It took me all day but I did it!

So glad you were able to get all caught up. Thank you for making the time for me! :flower3: I know how busy you are and it means a lot! I hope you have a wonderful evening!!!

Ok I can't read these around people any more! :rotfl2: I don't need anyone else thinking I'm strange! And I don't think they'd understand if I told them I was talking to my "DIS friends" about fish stuck in toilets and apples that got flushed and pooh overflowed. :lmao: :rotfl2: Uh yeah your potty story is way more gross than mine! Poor Harv! There's no way...I would have just moved out!! :rotfl2:

:cool1: Yay for getting an interview-I hope it went well-you must come update us!!!!

You're one busy woman between football and cheerleading and everything else! I think you should just sleep all day on Sunday!

I can't wait for Dan to get home tonight so I can sleep in my own bed and let him get up with kids tonight!

I'd love to go diving some day but after hearing your husband's story-I'm freaking terrified more than I was before about it! One of the firefighters is a diving instructor and even that's not enough motivation for me to take the lessons! Sorry...I'm not Shark Bait! :rotfl:

Sorry....I hope this all made sense...I started about an hour ago but was interrupted when Corbin went outside to play with his friend (the one who's house he'll "get dead" if he goes in!) and the little boy accidentally shut Carter's finger in the door. It's seriously almost flat and I've been debating running him up to the station to see what the guys think about it. It's so red and I know it's going to be a huge bruise in a few days-the end is all purple. He's happy now with some Tylenol and Arthur :goodvibes We're just going to try and keep him up until Dan gets home about 8 tonight.

Alright...since I haven't posted pictures over here in quite some time, here's a little bit of an update of our last two weeks.

Dan's been gone to MD for class at the National Fire Academy so it's been a long two weeks!

The first weekend he was gone, the boys and I headed to Target to help Santa pick up a Wii that he's going to bring us. Thanks to another DIS boarder, I was able to find out they'd be in that week's ad and we had a good chance at getting one. I'd been debating for awhile to see what would happen. I packed the boys up and took them out. I decided if they still had one by the time we got there it was meant to be for us to buy it. While, we strolled in a little after 10 and they had two. I got the Wii and Wii Fit. YAY Santa!! :santa: :santa:

Then thanks to more DIS board surfing :surfweb: I found another deal on Wii games (b2g1 free). Since TRU is so far away, I found out that BB price matched with them. I went over there and picked up six games and an extra Wii Mote to go with Santa's other gift. I didn't like the way it was rung up but my patience was growing thin with the staff there and the boys were starting to be done with the shopping trip. I decided to go back the following day to get everything straightened out. I went back on my lunch and they straightened everything out thankfully and I wound up saving almost $100 by the time I was done. Santa's done with our family.

Work's been CRAZY busy. We're selling pink t-shirts for breast cancer awareness month and we've had people in and out all last week buying the shirts. http://www.wtoc.com/global/video/fl...g=Search Results&activePane=info&rnd=43852439 If that doesn't come up, you can go to www.wtoc.com and search Bluffton Firefighters Go Pink and it should bring it up that way.

In the midst of shirt sales, they decided to clean the tile floor that my desk sits on. Thursday afternoon consisted of moving stuff into our conference room and working from various places on Friday until we went home at 1. (that's a perk of having a great boss!!!)

One treat the boys got while we were out one day is their favorite (and Mommy's!)-Shushes!!

It's also been really rainy here last week so we had to get all suited up before we could head out.

OctoberPictures020.jpg

OctoberPictures017.jpg

OctoberPictures014.jpg

We also had to get the boy's hair cut since the top was just getting in their eyes. Corbin asks every day "Is my hair still short?"

Ok...yes I know the pictures don't show up right now...they will on Tuesday. I just can't justify the added expense of "upgrading" photobucket right now. Sorry guys!!

So we've had several "visitors" make their returns lately. The frog doesn't have a name but the gator is named Jeff thanks to Corbin.

We also woke up the other morning and the boys found this outside while I was packing the van for work:

OctoberPictures038.jpg

Two Fridays ago, I went out for a friend's birthday. It's been awhile since Mommy's had one of these:
OctoberPictures005.jpg

Last night poor Carter got his finger shut in the door! Corbin was heading out to play with a friend and the friend accidentally closed the door without realizing Carter had put his finger in the other side. It took him a little while, but he was finally able to bend it again...I almost took him down to the station but he seems to be ok now.

OctoberPictures055.jpg

Dan's mom made a quilt for the auxiliary to raffle off. I spent the beginning of the week calling places to ask them to sell the tickets and worked with one of the local newspapers to get them to run a story on it. Hopefully it'll be in the paper soon!

OctoberPictures047.jpg

The boys have been busy with art projects...Carter did have a name tag on until he ripped it off

OctoberPictures027.jpg

Cont'd in next post!

Today was a BIG DAY at our house. Dan had read on another board (I know-shocking!!) about Kmart having something about the die cast Cars cars this morning. Since all three boys are obsessed with these, we were up and at Kmart this morning. As they all got more frustrated because they couldn't figure out where it was taking place, I finally convinced them to ask where it was. That's when they found out that our Kmart wasn't selected to take part in this promotion. I had three bummed out boys! The little ones did have a good time on the little ride out front even though I didn't have any quarters!

OctoberPictures058.jpg

When we got home, Corbin wanted to go out and ride his bike. We'd made a deal that when Daddy got home from school, the training wheels were coming off. Corbin had some confidence now because one of the neighbor kids told him he didn't need them any more!

He was a little hesitant riding in the driveway, but once he got down the driveway and made it around the cul de sac, all he could scream was "I CAN DO IT!!" "I'M DOING IT!!". My baby's growing up way too fast!

OctoberPictures061.jpg

OctoberPictures062.jpg

OctoberPictures066.jpg

OctoberPictures078.jpg

Carter was happy just blowing bubbles and watching the craziness of the bike riding excitement

OctoberPictures075.jpg

To help wear off the "newness" of being able to ride a bike with "just two wheels", Daddy took the boys for a walk tonight

OctoberPictures080.jpg

Carter's also been sleeping with his new buddy George
