ok.. Im obviously a dork and have NO life because I took pictures of my bag and contents of my carryon grooming items.. Here ya go..

This bag is actually pretty cool... its more of a mini backpack that I picked up at Mousegears on my last trip.. there are holes in the front and on the sides for jibbitz (the things you put in crocs).. the front and sides are made of the same material as crocs.. I purchased several jibbitz on last trip and figured that each trip I will pick up a few..

Well today is my birthday.. woohoo..

I went back to work today too.. I actually was looking forward to it.. I was getting a little bored here at home, but Im sure that will wear off soon.. I went back to the office for this week and then will come home next week and work from home until DD goes back to school.. I know I mentioned it on my other PTR, but not sure if I mentioned here or not, but DD had back surgery 2 weeks ago and Ive been home with her..

Today DH gave me my birthday card and he wrote some really touching things .. he also wrote that if what I wanted was a solo trip to Disney than he was behind me going..

I am a little bummed though as DSIL sent me an email today letting me know my brother had a stress test today and they had to stop the test due to chest pains and they are saying there is something wrong with his heart.. they will have more info at the first of next week.. at first I thought she was referring to my nephew as they have the same name.. my nephew has a bad heart and has had many open heart surgeries since he was a baby.. He is now around 24.. I was alarmed when I found out it was my brother she was referring to.. He is only 47.. Please keep him in your prayers..

I am getting excited about my solo trip.. On the community board there is a member who moved near WDW and I love frequenting her post.. she posted some pictures yesterday from F & G Festival.. Its making me excited!!

Mousegears is at Epcot.. its that big store thats by Spaceship Earth.. The bag is right by the crocs in there.. I love it cause I can put my jibbitz on it..

oooh I love Mousegears too!! they have so much wonderful stuff in there.. On our family trip last year I volunteered to watch the grandbabies while everyone else went on Mission Space just so I could go to Mousegears and walk around and shop

Ive been around the boards but havent really posted much here lately because there isnt much to post.. Im in that awkward stage right now... I am done with getting everything together and just waiting waiting waiting.. ugh the waiting...

DD is doing much better and she actually went for a walk with me yesterday and today for about a mile each day.. she is bored out of her mind!!! This week was Spring Break for the kids.. she starts back at homebound school on Monday and then again on Wednesday.. She goes back to the surgeon on Friday for her postop appt.. everything looks good..

I did go onto my health insurance website as I do every so often and was just checking to see if any bills came in for her surgery.. I nearly fainted when I saw the hospital bill.. it was over $206,000.00 Boy Im glad I have insurance! we luckily only had to pay a $200 copay and they are paying the rest.. I told DH last night that it makes me so thankful that we do have it and it sure does make you think about the ones who dont have it.. I dont know what I would have ever done if we didnt.. I never could have ever afforded to have this done and it was so needed.. We are truly blessed!

I start working from home on Monday to be with her until she returns to school.. hoping she will return in 2 weeks, but I dont want to rush her and allow her to be completely healed before returning..

My fingers are crossed that I will get my ME info soon in the mail..

Looked at the calendar and Im down to 26 days

Not doing much this weekend except cleaning I guess the spring cleaning bug bit me because I have been cleaning like a crazy woman today and Ive gotten rid of alot of junk.. It doesnt help that my next door neighbor cut down the bushes between our back yards so now they can see all the crap in my back yard, so I felt compelled to clean it up it wasnt all that bad, but bad enough for me to get off my duff..

I nearly died today when the boards were down for soooo long.. I kept coming back and they were still down so thats another reason why I cleaned.. otherwise Im sure I would have been here

Just a bit ago I went on the resorts board and looked under codes and rates and found a thread about special rates for room only in the spring.. I looked it up and sure enough it was good for my dates, but it said only good Sunday-Thursday and Im going from Friday night til Monday night.. but I thought, what the heck, and tried my dates anyways.. YEP.. my dates were there.. I never dialed a phone# so fast in my life!!

I immediately called and got reservations and talked to Debbie Lou (boy that sounds like a made up name.. Ive heard that the names arent their real names.. I always laugh at some of the names of the CM's that I get.. surely they arent real ).. she confirmed it!! she made the changes for me and I saved $151.89!!!!! I already paid my deposit so now my final payment at check in is $151.89 less.. woohoo.. This really is becoming a semi-budget trip for me.. I made sure they have my flight info for ME and made an ADR for Rainforest Cafe on Monday, April 20th for a late lunch.. Im all set!!

I was just telling DH earlier that I was starting to have second doubts about the solo trip.. I think Im getting a little nervous about this.. Ive never done anything like this before.. then this evening I was telling him that I do want to go.. and then I found this rate.. so I cant back out now..

Im so so excited.. I leave 2 weeks from this coming Friday I absolutely cannot wait!!

I went today and did all of my Easter shopping.. so thank goodness that is done! I didnt want to wait until the absolute last minute for which I am so fondly known around my house

Things have been hectic and life is getting back to normal.. I guess as normal as my life is.. Well DD is now back in school.. she is going 1/2 days.. so she goes from 8 am til 12 pm.. so I go to work at my usual 6 am and then leave the office at 11:45 to leave to go get her.. then head home and finish up my day here.. Boy I am truly blessed to have a boss who is willing to work with me.. she is on 1/2 days for 3 weeks.. so only 2 more weeks after this week.. she is doing so good I cant believe it..

Friday night we had a scare with our grandbaby.. of course it happened on my weekend.. we get the grandbabies every other weekend.. well Friday we went out to eat at Rainforest cafe closeby our home.. our youngest DGD is a little over 10 months.. We were half way there when I realized that I left her diaper bag at home so we decided we would try to eat as fast as possible and get back home and that I would give her some mashed potatoes if she got hungry.. so we ordered and the food came.. I gave her some potatoes and after awhile she started gagging and throwing them up slightly.. it was a mess everywhere.. I took her to the restroom and cleaned her up.. we went back to the table and she continued to gag.. she was very congested as she always is.. I figured she just wasnt feeling well.. we decided to take our food home and head home.. on the way out of the door she is truly gagging and all of the sudden she is throwing up blood!!! we were going to rush her to the emergency room but since there was blood involved RFC insisted that they had to call 911.. so the paramedics came and rushed us to the hospital.. come to find out she had gotten her immunizations earlier that day and we didnt know this.. she apparently had a reaction to the shots and in the midst of the gagging she busted a blood vessel in her throat.. they monitored her for a few hours and released her.. she came home with us and she was fine the rest of the weekend.. she scared the bejesus out of me though!!!!

Then Saturday I had an appt with dentist for 2 root canals!! YES.. you heard me right.. 2!! well I ended up being there for 4 hours.. the first one was done fine.. the second one was one I had already had a root canal on years ago but it got reinfected so they needed to take the stuff out, retreat it and redo it.. well apparently the file they used to clean out the canal broke off in my canal and he couldnt retrieve it.. soooo.. its still there as of today and I have to go back next Saturday to get it taken care of.. ugh!! Luckily I have had NO pain.. imagine that!! I have had several root canals over the years and normally I am in excruciating pain for months.. but not one pain this time.. I am tryly excited about that.. (((fingers crossed))))

Well.. Onto my Disney trip news..

I have decided to make a few changes to my itenerary..

My original plan was to arrive Friday, check in at the resort (hope room is ready) then head to Hollywood Studios.. then Saturday go to Epcot for F& G Festival.. Sunday to Magic Kingdom as there is EMH that night which goes til 3 am I believe and then Monday would be Animal Kingdom..

Well.. I decided Friday I would do Animal Kingdom.. because they are open til 7 pm, whereas DHS closes at 6.. It'll probably be 12 before I even make it into the parks.. so this will give me an extra hour to tour the park..

Saturday I decided to do MK because that is the last day that Space Mtn and TTA will be operating before the shutdown for the refurb.. so that means I can ride them one last time!! There is EMH in the am on this day.. so the park will be open early and it stays open til 12 am!!! I figure since AK closes fairly early on Friday night I can go back to the hotel and get some rest and be up early on Saturday so I can be at MK at opening.. I'll do the things I really want to get in first then maybe around 3 I'll head back to the resort for a nap and then head back to MK around 6:30 and stay til midnight if I can last that long..

Sunday will be Epcot.. There is no EMH I dont believe but I figure I wont need it..

and last but not least is Monday and that will be Hollywood Studios.. again no EMH but I plan on being up fairly early and checked out and being there at opening.. I'll get in the things I definitely want to do then I'll take it easy.. I figure this will be a good last day anyways because there are so many leisurely things I can do since Im sure I'll be really tired by this day..

Well I sat down today and figured the things that are actual MUST DO's.. In Animal Kingdom it has to be Expedition Everest, Rafiki Planet Watch, Nemo show, Festival of the Lion King, and I also want to see the different characters dressed in their safari gear.. At MK, I must meet the fairies!!!! I need pictures!! of course I also must ride Space Mtn and TTA and Carousel of Progress... at Epcot.. as long as I get to walk around World Showcase and Epcot and see the beautiful topiaries and flowers, I will be in heaven and then in DHS.. I must ride Toystory Mania..

Of course there is more I want to do but these are the absolute, have to do, must do even if it kills me things on this trip

I went to Target today and in the dollar spot they had a cute cinderella notepad so I got that and will take in my backpack so I can take notes in the parks so I can document this trip...

well hope I didnt bore you guys to death.. Im just rambling!!
