Im back!!!!!

Finally...

I just got in last night.. I was supposed to be back on Monday but there were issues with the flight and it kept getting pulled back further and further and further.. well DH was at his moms/grandmoms house, as he is there until Tuesday next week and they are 2 hours from Orlando.... I ended up changing my flight til Wednesday night and DH came and got me from the airport.. so I got to spend 2 days with them.. I was able to work from there as my job allows me alot of flexibility and I was able to log on in Florida and work..

Im pooped!!!

I learned alot about myself on this trip I have to say.. You guys will be absolutely surprised at what I have to say by the end of my TR.. PROMISE..

hi guys.. sorry I havent been back..

If you remember my grandmom was quite sick when I left and was in the hospital.. well my mom called me while I was at WDW and said my grandmother got moved to the nursing home.. but I kept checking on her thru my mom while I was gone.. I was supposed to be home on the 19th but there were problems with my flight and I ended up getting delayed in Florida for a few extra days.. DH was at his mothers house as he goes there every year to help out with things she and his grandmom need done around the house.. he and my DMIL drove to MCO to pick me up late that night .. she lives about 2 hours from the airport and we drove back to her house.. I stayed an extra 2 days and worked from her house as my job allows me to do that if something comes up..

I got home and went to see my grandmother after I returned in the nursing home.. The following Monday the nursing home called an ambulance as her blood pressure was up and down and they had her sent there just to have her checked out.. well they ended up admitting her that Monday.. she stayed there for a few days and then they sent her to a continued care hospital as she still had the infection.. they didnt know where it was or where it was coming from but the dr decided that she must not have gotten rid of it the last time she was in the hospital and so he didnt want to release her too early again.. they wanted to keep her on antibiotics for 2-3 weeks and since she had IVS they couldnt send her to the nursing home.. so the plan was to be in the Continued care hospital til she was released to go back to the nursing home.. well by Thursday she was back in the regular hospital as she was having respitory problems and they sent her back.. she had another stroke on Friday and they told us then that unfortunately she wasnt going to make it this time.. they said that we needed to call family if they wanted to come see her because it was just a matter of time.. they said that she was basically brain dead but the only part of her brain that was working was the part that was telling her to breathe.. she started going into respitatory distress on Saturday.. she was able to hang on until early Monday morning..

So needless to say things have been quite hectic around here.. Today was a sad day for us.. I was cleaning thru my house and came across the gift I bought her for Mothers Day
