Housekeeping Questions

Hi all,

Just looking for some responses to see if when you stay for more than a few days, do you ever choose to pay for full housekeeping services outside of the normal trash and towel and full cleaning >7 day stays? I never have. But my wife and I are planning 9 nights in a studio next March. I am thinking it might be nice to have more frequent full room cleanings than just on day 4. What are your thoughts?

I stay 11 to 14 days each time I go. I don't get full housekeeing.

Trash is emptied daily and new towels every 3 or 4 days. I can spend 5 or 10 minutes picking up as needed. We just pull up the sheets so bed looks made. We can live with that on vacation.

Up to you, we don't need the extra service.

When you stay 8 nights or more, you get full cleaning on day 4 and trash and towel on day 8. One thing you can consider when doing 9 nights/10 days is ordering full cleaning for that eight day that is supposed to be trash and towell service. When you order full cleaning for a designated trash and towel day, they deduct the price of the trash and towel service that you give up, e.g., for a studio the full cleaning cost becomes $15 rather than $30.

You can also order a towel pack for $6 (four bath towels, two hand towels, four face cloths and a tub mat).

I've been a member since 1999, have never purchased additional housekeeping. Typical stay 5 or 6 nights, usually studios these days.
