Could someone explain to me what the housekeeping situation would be if I am renting DVC points from someone for a five -day stay at SSR? Not sure if we would have every day housekeeping--as we are not actually DVC members--or if we would have limited or no housekeeping services as we ARE renting DVC space. Any info would be appreciated!!

DVC is a timeshare, and as such does not have daily housekeeping. You will get fresh towels and have the trash removed on day 4 (counting day one as check in day), but that is all unless you tell them you wish to pay for additional housekeeping. If you are in a studio, that would be $25 per housecleaning visit. You can also choose to just add an extra towel pack for $6 to have additional towels. This is assuming you are renting from an owner. If you book through Disney's CRO, you will get daily maid service just like all the hotels do.

Trash and towel service on "day 4", check-in is "Day 1". For instance, Check in on Monday, Trask & Towel on Thursday.

As Diane said, extra towel packs 4-Bath, 4-hand & 4 washcloths + 1 mat, is $6. Additional trash and towel days are $10.

Full housekeeping, including fresh bed linens, is $25 for a studio, $30 for a 1 bedroom, $40 for 2 bedrom and $60 for Grand Villa per day requested.

kbroer, as a renter you are considered a DVC "member" for housekeeping purposes. So you'd get Trash and Towel service on Day 4, as others have stated, but could also pay for full housekeeping each day if you chose. Have a fun trip!!!!

You may wish to note the trash in trash and towel. If your trash gets full before your T&T day, you are going to need to take it down to the rubbish room. There will be signs at the resort.

You will also have access to free washers and dryers. If this is a studio - they will be in a laundry room somewhere. If you are renting a larger unit, they will be right in your unit. However, you'll want to bring your own detergent.
