Housekeeping at the Fairfield Inn

Do they typically have the rooms cleaned by 1PM or so? We will be coming back for a mid-day break from the parks and I didn't think about this until someone posted about "late" housekeeping at Howard Johnsons.

That could be a hit or miss. I have stayed at the Fairfield many times and have returned mid-day and the room has been cleaned, the housekeeper is in the room or they are down the way. My Hubby loves his mid-day nap so if they are down at another room and have not made it to ours yet we have opted to ask for clean towels and such and ask them to pass by so that he can nap.

I would bet that with any hotel they start on the empty rooms first to get them ready for check in.

We were there the 13th-18th and the first day the housekeeper came right as we returned for our break. All we did was exchange towels. So the next morning when I left early in the am, I requested an early cleaning, and it was always done the rest of the trip by the time we returned for break. I had to only ask that once.

I always get fresh towels and fresh bedding , I do not need my room cleaned when we take out our own trash and make our own beds. I also do not want strangers in my room .

I prefer the room to be cleaned before I get back... But I can live with it if it is not. I'm not picky.
