Just booked a 3 week stay in a Treehouse Villa for August 2015 via WDW Travel Company (I am not DVC nor did I purchase DVC points). Do housekeeping still come and clean as they would if I were staying at say CR or YC etc?

My understanding is if you booked it as a regular cash reservation it is supposed to be treated like a regular room and receive daily housekeeping. However from what I've read (and I'm still waiting to stay on my first DVC reservation so I don't know for sure) because daily cleans isn't standard it is sometimes missed. If you need housekeeping I might call them at least the first couple of days to remind them.

Yes you will get housekeeping every day. We are DVC members but sometimes pay cash for villa stays. We just spent a week at SSR this past August and paid cash (we got a great deal and are using our points for Christmas and other stays!!). Housekeeping came in every day and did a great job. They left extra coffee and laundry detergent, soap, bath stuff, etc. We have never had a problem with housekeeping, but if you do just call down, or better, go down to the front desk and tell them. Also we stayed in a Treehouse a few years ago on cash and loved it!! Housekeeping came every day and, again, did a great job. I hope you have a wonderful stay!!!

Enjoy The Magic!!

Thanks, I'll be sure to mention it at reception when I check in.

Just a couple more quick questions about SSR:

1. Do I park my car right outside the Treehouse Villa or in a car park?
2. Do I check in at the normal reception or is there one specifically for the Treehouses? I ask because I drove past there on my last trip and I saw a separate entrance for the Treehouses.

Thanks

There is space to park one car at the Treehouse. Any additional cars need to be parked in a central lot, not the Treehouses.
You check in at the main building
