house or condo?

we are going to disney for 2 weeks in dec 2015 the first 2 weeks.what i was wondering should we stay in a house or condo?we have stayed in condo and are nice but we would like our own pool.if house would be good where should we stay at?thanks for helping so many choces.

Yes, I agree, so many choices! I personally would never do a house. I have, however, done a few times condo rental. I prefer if offsite Marriott, but mainly because my husband is Marriott Platinum. We have stayed at Grande Vista, Harbor Lake, and Sabal Palms as far as condo goes.

We've stayed in both a house and a condo and prefer the house......love all the space and our own private pool- we always find one with a hot tub too. We just went to a hotel for a weekend and having to share the pool was not nice! We found the houses are really not much more than a condo. We've stayed in many different areas- all within 15-20 min of Disney.....privacy plus hot tub plus responsive owner and good reviews are what we look for.

We also prefer a house. We like having a private pool, hot tub and game room. The kids can swim or play games while we prepare a meal or relax on the private patio. The extra space is great!

We always stay at Windsor Hills. The amenities are so nice that we usually cut a few park days out of our vacation to stay at the resort and have fun. That alone pays for the cost of the house.

Windsor Hills is a neighborhood often recommended for home rentals. A house is usually cheaper, and will in all likelihood have the pool you want. My personal preference having done both is renting a condo at a timeshare resort from an owner. These resorts for me have that resort feel that I really like. Plus I enjoy chatting with other vacationers at the pool, etc. so enjoy a community pool rather than a private pool. // Both are good options, though. Enjoy!
