Call me stupid but I think there should be and overhaul of mk's Mickey's toon town fair. They need to update and also ad a House of Mouse. :confused3

Isn't the House of Mouse basically a show about a giant character meal?

That aside, MK's Toontown could use some enhancement.

well I imagine someday the Tomorrowland speedway will become a Cars themed attraction with the entrance part of Toontown

Honestly, I thought the same thing until I had a child. Now my two-year old loves the place. I think it is pretty well done for little ones. I think that Walt's quote about sitting on a bench watching his little girl on a merry-go-round is misapplied sometimes. It is ok to have attractions, or even a whole land devoted to the little kids, so long as there are other things where "Daddy can have a little fun too." Toontown is boring to adults, but it is a hit with the target audience.

That being said, I would like to see a "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" built just like the clubhouse on the show. It could be more than just a playground. They could put in a series of minor attractions (think "A Bug's Land"). Maybe a balloon ride based on Donald's hot air baloon similar to Pteradon Flyers at IOA, a super slide like is shown on the house, and even a dark ride featring the classic Disney characters in some of their classic cartoons.

Well, the quote is pretty clear. Not that I'm saying that quote should govern every move Disney makes, but it says what it says.

But I wasn't really saying Toontown should be demolished, or even have its concept changed. I just said it needs some enhancement and updating. I have had a two-year old, and in a few months will have another one, and really, there aren't too many places you can take a two year old that they don't enjoy. I can take them to places for free where they will have an absolute blast. If I'm going to spend hundreds of dollars a day, I need a little more than that.

From your last paragraph, though, it seems you essentially agree on the need for updating, which is primarily what I was getting at.

Cristen's comment aside, MK's Toontown doesn't even hold up well to DL's.

While that would be an improvement (anything would be an improvement over the TL Speedway), I think they still need to do some work with the current Toontown as well.

I don't want to speak for the OP, but could it mean Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? This incredibly popular show could certainly be a great way to re-furb Toontown into something new.

I heard that something like that could replace the Little Mermaid show at MGM.
