House Of Blues

Hey,

We've never been to the House of Blues. We usually eat counter service at DTD since we love Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express. My dd and her friend have picked out HOB to try this time. Any thoughts/opinions? I just don't hear much about it. Is this a good option? Anything we just *must* try?

We won't be doing the Gospel Brunch; it's too expensive for us right now since we're taking an extra person.

Our friend Ron loves this place so whenever we go with them we have our departure lunch there. The shrimp po boy, the burgers, the caesar salad, the red beans and rice and the rosemary cornbread are what we usually order and OMG it is fantastic

We like HOB.My DD is taking her first WDW trip without us in two weeks for her spring break and made it one of her must eats.Give it a try.

Ditto and if you go late night you'll likely get a live band at no additional charge. I was there on a Saturday night in Feb, no cover and a great blues band. Had intended to go Friday for a jazz set, but ended up doing something else that night. By the way buses leave DTD up to 2am, was on a 1am bus both nights.

voodoo shrimp and cornbread is a great appetizer; they have tasty burgers and pulled pork sandwiches, too. we're big fans of HoB - never had a bad meal at one regardless of which city we've been in when we've eaten there.

We've never dined at the one in Orlando, but after having dinner at the one at DTD in DL last year, it'll be a must-do for us!
