Okay, I've been to Disney World about a million times. However, I have never eaten at House of Blues at Downtown Disney. Can you just go in and have dinner? Can I make an ADR for this? I am meeting a bunch of girls there for "girls night out" in December. We want to go and relax and have some good food without the husbands and kids.

Has anyone been to just dinner? How is it?

Thanks! :)

Their food is great but you should definitely make a reservation - like anything else on Disney property they get busy.

HoB takes reservations 180 days in advance of the date you want to dine.

If you like shrimp, try their Voodoo Shrimp w/ Cornbread - it's on their appetizer menu and it's quite tasty!

We really like HOB. Orlando's isn't quite as good as NOLA's, but if you've never been to either, they won't be able to prove that by you. ;) I agree that you definitely need an ADR. The last time we ate there I called when leaving home to get an ADR. (I live an hr. away.) Our ADR was for 8:15. When we got there, we had a 10 min. wait. Those w/o ADRs were told it would be at least a 90 min. wait. So, you can usually walk-in, but calling ahead for an ADR is advisable. Oh yeah, it's best to not wait until last minute like I did.
