House of Blues

Have reservations there for the first time. DH thinks we're going to Planet Hollywood. What has been your experience at Blues?

We love HOB.

Good food, good service, fair pricing.

Hands down better choice than PH.

I agree. The PH food is mediocre at best, and the prices are too high for what you get. We did the HOB Sunday Brunch a few years back in Myrtle Beach, and my dh still talks about how great it was. I would choose HOB too.

What's the decor in House of Blues? Does it have the same feel ad PH?

Is a must do for us each trip to WDW.We do late lunch most times with no ADR and always get seated right away.DW loves the Catfish Nuggets with Sweet Potato Fries,I love the the VooDoo Shrimp and thay have a great Shrimp Po-Boy the Elwood Burger is great also.HOB is much more laid back than PH.HOB is themed like the old south juke joints with some great art and busts of some of the blues greats living and dead. We eat at HOB every visit for years now & have never had a bad meal there . We love the atmosphere also!!

Can't miss with the HOB. The feel is very different from PH. Decorated with Folk art all over the walls, really cool. I like the jambalaya.

They have the best cornbread! ...and super creamy, delicious mac and cheese! We've been there twice, and we've had a great experience both times.

Ditto on the cornbread. Just be award that if you are expecting all the memorabilia that is at PH, it is not there. There is some stuff, but it is nowhere near as close, IMHO.

Voodoo shrimp w/cornbread is a terrific appetizer.
