thinking of booking the gospel brunch at house of blues has anyone done this before, any thoughts or experiences please? Gill

Hi,

We did this a few years ago. It was enjoyable. You sit at long tables and help yourself to the all you can eat buffet which was varied and included the HOB gorgeous banana bread pudding. The gospel group was great and you can join in if you wish. We had a good time but it was not one of those must repeat experiences.

Hi Gill, I love Eeyore too!

We did the gospel brunch a year and a half ago and i would do it again, my dd and dh both enjoyed it as well, the gospel choir was FAB IMO The only down side is we had a guest evendelist preacher and she was a little OTT for our taste but the food and atmosphere was great! "Praise the lord and pass the biscuits"! www.hob.com Tel 407 934 2583 10.30am and 1pm cost $31 per Adult and $16 for age 3-9.

We did it last year...

I was a little worried as I am not a churchy person but I loved it and will definitely go again.

We went with friends 4 adults 3 children and were all seated together round a large table. Food was fabulous and you could keep going back. The kids loved that idea and tried new thinks.

The music was brilliant...even though I am quite a reserved person you end up clapping your hands sat down and then standing up.

If you don't want to join in you can simply sit, there is no pressure at all.

The one thing I would say is dress correctly.....For many this is a church service, the local people are dressed nicely so I wouldn't go in beach type gear.
In saying that you don't have to go too neat....both the men with us wore shirts and I wore three quarter trousers and a pretty top. The children were in normal smartish shorts and tee shirts.

Have a lovely time. This is one not to miss.
