House of Blues w/ kids???

My sister has ADR's at HOB next month. She's concerned that her boys (6 & 8) are too young for the atmosphere. Is it more of a loud, bar atmosphere then a restaurant?? Her ressies are at 5pm...

I'd liken it to a blues inspired TGIFriday's. Definitely within reason for kids of any age. And at 5pm, there's a good chance the place will be dead...

I think that at 5, they should be fine...I think that the later it gets say after 9 is when they probably do not want to be there.

we ate there for the first time in june.we were there for lunch,it wasn't loud at all,it doesn't have a bar atmosphere,and the food was very good,my children enjoyed it.my teenage son still talks about the shrimp po boy,yummy.

We ate there in June of this year with our two kids. The place wasn't loud at all. Also, the food was good.
