Does anyone know if you can use BOTH a restaurant.com certificate and the TIW card at the same time for a meal (for 6 people)? I know with the restaurant.com certificate we have to order a certain $ amt. of food, but can we still get the additional 20% discount on top of that with the TIW card?

Has anyone tried to do this?

I did a search and couldn't find this answered anywhere.

You'd have to split into two separate checks. One covering the qualifying restaurant.com certificate minimum and the rest on TiW. You cannot combine them both on one check. That's called "stacking", and it's not allowed.

Just wondering will they actually let you do this and/or has anyone done it?

I recommended to try the same thing to someone, but have no idea if they will let you do this.

I'll have to check the restrictions on the restaurant.com certificate (haven't bought one yet) to see if you CAN split checks. Some of the certificates don't allowing splitting of checks at same table.

Still hoping someone who has tried this will post and advise.

I can speak from the experience I had at Shula's in July. There were 5 of us at the table, and the two people using the Restaurant.com certificate were on a separate check from those of us using Tables in Wonderland.

I can't speak for Il Mulino or Todd English's bluezoo™, but I figured that they would probably handle it the same way.

I just asked the same question earlier in the day and there were two responses saying that it would be ok. I am going to bring the certificate anyway. Worst that can happen is that they say no.

We got a Cast discount at House of Blues in June and then used the Restaurant.com coupon there.

I saw your question about the Dining Dough. But I think people thought you were asking about using a Disney gift card for some reason. Totally different. I don't know if Dining Dough is handled differently than the Restaurant.com certificates that usually list a dining minimum (spend X amount of dollars, or two entrees, etc). I think you might run into a problem if you don't ask the restaurant directly. I don't know which restaurant you're using your Dining Dough, but I'd call the restaurant.
