Has anyone done the Sunday brunch at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney? Can you tell me what it was like? Here's what the House of blues web site says, hob.com :

We've done it twice, although it has been a few years.

We LOVED it!

The food is delicious, and plentiful. I would recommend getting there early. The lines can get long, and you only have about 40 minutes to eat before they start the show.

And the show is good ol' fashioned Southern Gospel music - lots of clapping and foot tapping!

I'm going to try and get us tickets to it on our day of departure. I tried to call the box office to get an idea of how far in advance we can buy the tickets and I was on hold forever. Does anyone know how far in advance we can get tickets?

This is one of the best things we've ever done. Food was delicious, and the
show had us up on our feet "Praisin' the Lord!"

We have eaten at HOB for the Gospel Brunch in Myrtle Beach, SC last year. It was great, lots of fun and interaction and the food was very goooood.

Although after looking at what Disney charges for their HOB Gospel Brunch, I think I'll wait and do it again in Myrtle Beach where adults are $19.95 and kids 6-12 are $8.50

But hey after all it is Disney, Go for it, I give it a big thumbs up

You cant use the dining plan for it correct? I dont think so but thought Id ask if anyone knew.

Correct , you can not use the dining plan but it is well worth paying OOP for it . The food was someof thebest I have had on Property. The music was very good also but a bit on the loud side. I aslo agree with the previous poster in that you need to get there early becasue there are medium to long lines for the food. I would definately recomend HoB Gospel Brunch to anyone looking for great food and good entertainment
