I recentley read of the House of Blues deal thru Restraunt dot com. and Discover cash back. So I go to Discover Card Cash back (20% cash back) then to rest dot com, use the promo code MAY for 80% off. A $25.00 gift cert requires one to purchase $35.00 worth of food. We are a family of 4, so I buy 3 $25.00 gift cards for House of Blues for $10.00 each, with a discount of $80%, pay with Discover to get @20% cashback. When I print out my receipt/gift cert, it notes "one may be redeemed, per party, per month". So my extra two are no good to me! If I knew that prior I would have purchased a $50.00 card. Has anyone ever used or do they allow more than one cert?

They won't let you use more than one at a meal from everything I have ever heard (that's how pretty much all the restaurant.com certificates work). I have heard of people saying they were able to use more than one in a month, but not at the same meal.

Perhaps I will sit with my husband at one table and have my kids sit at a second table!

This won't help you now, but you must always read the fine print before purchasing on Restaurant.com. We love the certificates and use them often, but there are some restrictions you should be aware of. Most of them only allow one certificate to be used at a time. Also, they add an 18% gratuity. There is always a minimum purchase as well.

Even if my two kids sat at a different table...they wouldn't eat $35 of food themselves.

I think that sometimes the $50 certificates require $75 or so of food purchased. Not sure if your family would spend that much normally.

Rest.com doesn't usually work for us unless we have a kitchen or at least a frig in our room so that we can order a couple appetizers and just bring most/one of our actual entrees.
