I was doing my online check in for a trip next month and it offers no housekeeping or every other day. If I choose no housekeeping, Can we request towels? Can we ask for more trash bags and trash removal as needed? Thanks!

Yes. Or you can select housekeeping and every 3 days they are supposed to only remove your trash and replace towels. They don’t touch anything else other than that. I haven’t heard of every other day for housekeeping - have been told and experienced it’s 3 days - but maybe they have more staff/service at the hotel you’re in.

You can absolutely call -- even on night one -- and they'll bring you towels or whatever else you might need (within reason of course). One evening we noticed that they hadn't left any paper cups and we called and asked them to bring a few cups and leave them if they could. Being Disney they left the whole shebang. Cups, sweetener, coffee, you name it.

We have long hair and always have to request extra towels on night one because we all use two (and I've got four daughters). They've always been more than accomodating with towels and toiletries at the Disney resorts in my experience.

If your trash needs to be removed -- same situation. Housekeeping is a call away (although you may have to wait a bit).

Thanks. I might’ve read it wrong / maybe it said three days. I just looked quick.

Probably just how we all interpret words… but Disney uses the phrase “your room will receive a light cleaning service every other day”.

So depending on how you count things, check in day would be Day 1 (serviced before your arrival), Day 2 (no service), Day 3 (service), Day 4 (no service), Day 5 (service), etc…

I personally don’t read that setup as “every 3 days” but understand why someone might say that.

But as others have noted, you can request things at any time regardless of your housekeeping choice.

Enjoy your trip!
