House Hunting

lol well my mum is happy we told her we were looking for a house to rent yesterday lol, and shes packing us off to buy pans today!

yes its true after 24 years I am ready for out,

we are looking at renting a property for a few years, till I pay off my credit card and loan, and till chris gets a definate which area in the country he should be covering (hes doing right down to whales at present.

looked at one last night, very nice new build, but the landlord didnt seem to know how long it was to be rented for, and we want a years term at a time

this is a massive thing for me, and Ive got to start buying things for the HOME!! argh

hopefully get some lovely things in the states

just a little lost for the little bits we need to buy like baking trays lol

Good luck finding a place. The best bit is decorating it how you want and making it 'yours'.

I'm a bit worried about my holiday this year as it's the first time I will be at WDW when I own a house so I may go a bit mad in the shops and buy loads of 'useful' household items!! DH is very worried about his credit card too!!!

Well the first house we saw we fell in love with lol,

we saw some more but have gone back for the first

so we are preparing to sign for the house, for hopefully two years.

a lovely 3 bedroom, only a year old.

so looking like moving two days after we get back from florida, looking like next years may be cancelled,

Oh no After all your hard work with the billion/zillion changes Are you sure you really want to cancel. Will you still pay for your parents trip ? I bet they are looking forward to it now??

Normally you sign for 6 months initially and then these things just carry on (you continue the lease with a certain "nottice time" - normally a month or two). Wouldn't want to sign for two years - a lot can change in that time! for instance, one of you could get a fantastic job offer 300 miles away...

That is awful. Why is that? Would you loose a lot of deposits (for the flights and hotel). Thought that you had said that you had already paid the hotel in full?

Im already planning my time in the christmas shop at dtd!!!

My parents have told me they want to pay for their own trip, as they say I will need the money now, they are even extanding it lol.

I cancelled the hotels with no losses, just got to do the flights.

Thats a good thing about booking the hotels direct with Disney - aslong as you cancel with enough notice you get all your money back!
