This question is for the trash and towel service for the BCV. Becuase if you havent guessed yet thats where I wanna be hope to be soon. I understand you get one trash and towel day per week at the BCV. So if you have lets say a boy about 19 months who generates alot of disposables and fills up the bin pretty fast where do you dispose of excess garbage? Pretty dumb questions but just got to thinking of that tonight. 1 week 1 day left until we depart for the yacht club. pirate:

If your stay is 7 nights or less, you get trash & towel on day 4 (check-in is day 1). If your stay is 8 nights or more, you get a full cleaning on day 4 and a trash & towel on day 8. There are trash rooms on each floor where you can take your trash between cleanings. You can also purchase additional trash & towel service for $10 per day requested.

There are always empty trash bags at the bottom of the cans so you don't have to worry about that. Just fill them up and take them down the hall to the trash room.

One good thing about housekeeping not coming in all the time is that they will not wake up your baby.

what about towels? Do you have enough towels for a few days in the room? I do not want to do laundry everynight!

A studio and 1 bedroom will have 4 bath towels, a 2 bedroom will have 8 bath towels, and a GV will have 14 bath towels (at OKW anyway). If you want additional towel packs of 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths, and 2 hand towels, you can purchase one for $6.

It depends on the size of the unit - studio and 1BR have a 4 sets of towels 2 BR has 8 sets of towels and GV has 12. If you have a 1BR or bigger it is no big deal to throw in a load of laundry in the morning while getting ready to go out and put it in the dryer when you come back later in the day. We just hang the towels up each day and everyone has their own set. We are usually doing some laundry after the first day or so and throw the towels in also.

Looks like I will but the extra towels and have 2 sets to get me thru! Thanks!

I always do towels while at WDW. Not a biggie I guess. I also bring little baggie packs of premeasured tide from home. I'll throw our whites in with the towels, but then it's only hubby and me.

I think for folks who have never done DVC before, it might seem like a "big deal" to do wash on vacation, but having that washer and dryer in your room makes it SO easy, and it also allows us to pack a lot less. I'd much rather throw a load of clothes in each day before heading to the parks then tote along half a closet full of clothes.

Thanks for all the info. We have never stayed in a DVC resort. We are just starting the process of buying! We can not wait to go!!!
