At what point can you be sure of the park hours?

I'll be there next week and am recalling a post from someone who was upset that the hours changed after her arrival. If the times are going to change on me, I'd like to know before I arrive at the park.

Thanks!

I don't know what to tell you.
Most times things listed are accurate within a week or so.
My advance-planning hours hold up pretty well several months in advance.
But you can never REALLY be SURE until you are actually in the park in question.
I've seen different parades than the ones listed, different fireworks shows than listed, different closing time than listed... all not known until I was actually THERE in the park.
So yes, Disney sometimes DOES change things (sometimes at the "last minute".)

You can check the "times guides" when you arrive. They are printed every few days, but things can still change.

Its that pesky "reality" thing that affects all of us.

You cannot even be sure of the park hours on the day-of, though that late they'll almost always extend park hours rather than contract them.

I have only seen hours extended once I arrived at Disney - not shortened (with the exception of the few hurricane closures)

I had a case awhile ago where they shortened the hours at MK by an hour, I only found out when I got there. The schedule I got at check-in even had the later hours shown. I only found out because I went to city hall to make a reservation for special fireworks viewing and the cm told me the time to be there, it was an hour earlier.

Yes.

Nothing "ALWAYS" happens at WDW.

Best you can hope for (and PLAN for) is what USUALLY happens.

Come to think of it, its just like the rest of "real life." ;)
