Hours extended at MK on Wed August 20!!

Just checked the official hours and the Magic Kingdom will now be open until 10:30pm on Wednesday August 20th and there'll be 2 Spectromagics!!!!

The first is at 8:30 and the second one's at 10:30pm!

I just posted similar findings on another thread. They extended the hours for Monday, August 18th. MK open until 11:00 pm and two Spectro parades. The only down side I can think of is that they really must expect huge crowds next week. Yikes!!! But we'll be there come "rain" or shine!!!

They have changed MGM hours on Tuesday 19th as well and have put an extra Fantasmic on at 10:00pm. I wonder why they have suddenly extended hours for this week and put on extra shows!! I hope it isn't going to be that busy!!

Here's just a thought on why the Magic Kingdom is open later and why nother Spectro has been added. Maybe there have been numerous complaints on how packed EE mornings have been the last couple of weeks and by extending Wed hours and adding a Spectro more people will come on Wed(usually a slower day)and some of the crowds on Thurs. will be lighter. Just my 2 cents!!!

Well, as someone else arriving Sun 8/17 for 5 nights... I'm a little disappointed about the thought of crowds too (with the heat and rain!). Oh well... We can all come back and talk about it - at least we are forewarned!!
