Hours, Entertainment and Crowds in November

I'm trying to decide when to take our Disneyland trip. We want to go on weekdays and we have decided we would like to see the Christmas decorations, so November seems like a perfect time. Right now we are thinking either the week before or after Thanksgiving.

Are the evening shows like Fantasmic and World of Color generally shown on week nights in November, or are these reserved for the weekend? Are hours shorter during weekdays?

Thanks for any help! I appreciate it. We were originally planning to go in September but that isn't working out with our work schedules, so we are now looking at November.

Previous hours for DCA will likely be different in November. Starting this June Disney is expanding DCA hours. However, I suspect that will not affect entertainment. WOC will probably show nightly as it has for the last two years. Although there are rumors that WOC may undergo a refurb sometime over the next year.

Regarding the week after Thanksgiving: Fantasmic does NOT show suring the week and the park closes early (8 or 9). I believe World of Color played during the week, but I'm not completely certain. We always go the week after Thanksgiving....usually T, W and Th. A few years ago we moved it to S, M and T so we could enjoy Fantasmic on Sunday....plus our kids are getting older and can make it until Sunday's midnight closing time. I believe the week before Thanksgiving is similar in closing times and entertainment offerings. Thanksgiving week itself is probably different, as it is busier.
