I am very tempted to call today and say "What resort does NOT have construction going on for my dates and how much is that?"

The permit itself is for "Disney Art of Animation Resort Minor Modification request" to construct the overlook and boat ramp. This particular permit is in relation to water impact, not the actual construction. While I agree that we can't understand a need for an overlook or expansion of the bridge area ... there is nothing in this in and of itself to indicate a gondola or anything in the air, so I would not be jumping at that assumption. I would prefer to wait until construction permits are filed.

Just throwing this out there as a possibility ............ Art of Animation has upped their recreational offerings with Bike Rentals and Surrey Rentals located not far off the bridge. Hourglass lake is large and the northern half is about the same space as the northern part of CBR lake and appears same or larger than CSR lake. Both those resorts easily handled a marina and boat rentals when they had them. Could AoA be adding a marina/overlook to bring more recreation to the resort? A boat ramp would be needed to add boats. Just a thought.

Oh the options are unlimited .....

They could charge even more if you actually could overlap SW and Illuminations

OR maybe it's a new Dessert & Drone Show Party!

Oh oh oh ..... a new wedding chapel! Of course it would be highly themed weddings to go with the highly themed resorts.

Surely we could come up with some BTG/Cheer reasoning for it!
