Hotwire SC questions

Hi! I've enrolled in the HSC, and I have a couple of questions...

Tonight, I purchased some Outback, Target and ToysRUs gift certs/cards. How long will I have to wait for my "savings" to be applied to my credit card? My total was $175, but I should get $35 of this back. (By the way, I think this is really cool! I plan to save the Target and ToysRUs cards for the great sales that take place the day after Thanksgiving, so my savings will be even greater!)

Also, this was my first purchase, so I'll be sending in for my $10 cash back. I know some of you have reported receiving this as well, but how long did it take?

I also used my webbie to purchase some breakfast vouchers! Thanks to MyPoints, Cindy's RT will be free!! Woo hoo!

My understanding is that you will get your credit card credited when you redeem you gift cert/cards.

I too am new to Hotwire, but as a former Connections member the way that worked was that the credits appeared on teh next charge statmenet or possibly two out depending on teh billing cycle and when you ordered them. I assumed this was how Htwore worked too, but has anyone actaully gotten the credits yet?

I joined in early September and have made a number of purchases throughout September and October. I had all the credits due back to me credited either on the Sept or October creditcard bills (ones late in September were credited in October, but some purchases made in Mid-October were also credited back in October- so it seems to vary with the date the purchase is made).

Cool! So since I ordered last night, I may see my rebates by the end of the month!

What about the $10 rebate check? Anyone received this?

I joined Hotwire in early Oct, ordered some gift cards and q&c vouchers....
the cash back credit was posted to my cc account on Nov 3. ( I checked online) and I received my $10 rebate check from my first purchase ( which I mailed in on Oct 10) on Nov 4.

I mailed for my $10 rebate check on Oct. 8 and just received it yesterday, Nov. 7...which was the day after I cancelled my subscription...so it took about four weeks. To all who were wondering, it is a regular rebate check which you cash at your bank. I've seen some confusion as to whether it's good for travel purchased on Hotwire or something else.
