Review Hotwire question

I recently booked 3 rooms through Hotwire and had a question. They had us booked for 1 King Bed in each room. Is there anyway I might be able to get this changed? The hotel said I will have to pay 10 per room per night if I wanted to change. Anyway they might be able to drop this? Will HW be able to do it?

I don't think you can make changes through Hotwire, and everything has to be done through the hotel. Hotwire does have the policy of sleeping the number of guest you specified. I don't know how you did your booking.

Lets say you are traveling with some friends being six in total and want three rooms, with two beds. You can ask for 3 rooms for 12 people (even though there will only be 6 traveling) and this most certainly would get you three rooms with double beds, though you may end up with a King and a Sofa Sleeper or something.

Sometimes the rate goes down if you increase the number of guests, as they might want larger parties (for extras) instead of single travelers.
