I was just checking Hotwire for a one night stay on our arrival day. This seemed a good choice and am wondering if anyone knows or has a clue about which hotel it is likely to be:

**** Customer Favorite $59
Restaurant, pool, fitness center, business Center.
WDW location

Thanks!

Sounds to me like one of the hotels in Disney village not owned by WDW. Sounds like a great dea lfor a first night. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn near the airport for about that last November.

I just bid on one with those amenities and got the Hilton. Of course I can't promise! I believe Royal Plaza is 31/2 stars. Good luck!

After researching your link and others I tend to agree with you. It seems like a good deal but I have no experience with that hotel. Does anyone?

Thanks.

I have stayed there at least once on a priceline bid and would not hesitate to recommend it. The room was a good size. The decor is more on the modern size and you do NOT get towel animals, but I can live with these issues. It is within walking distance to DTD and has a decent fast food type food area in the lobby.

Others have complained about the timeshare sellers, but I was there a week walked thru the lobby about 20 times and no one ever bothered me.

I did not use the pool, my best friends family was staying on my points at OKW so I went there, but did not swim since it was too cool for my taste!

Let me also agree that I think that is the Hilton. We stayed there in February on a Priceline bid and had a very nice stay there. The rooms were fine, maybe a little cramped with the two double beds and all the furniture. (We had 4 adults so that could have had something to do with it as well.) The lobby was nice and there as someone mentioned there was a nice little "counter service" restaurant with good coffee, as well as a couple of nice looking sit-down restaurants. There is a Benihanah (sp?), which is a really good Japanese restaurant, there as well. There are two time-share desks at either end of the lobby, but you will learn to just walk quickly past them, and politely decline to listen to their speel (sp?). The pool area is decent size with two pools and two hot tubs. But to me the best part about this hotel is that it is right across from DTD Marketplace. Literally a 3 minute walk. I would stay there again in a minute.

I tend to also beleive this hotel is the Hilton also. We stayed there during Easter on a Priceline bid for 60 a night . The customer feedback sounds like it is the Hilton..

If you bid and receive the hilton let us know. Were heading to the beach in August and are stooping off at WDW for a couple days and probably will try bidding for the Hilton again.

You guys are so awesome. I listened to your thoughts about the Hilton on Hotwire, and you were right. I booked it for seven nights at $59 from Christmas to New Year!!!! I was having a hard time finding anything reasonable, so needless to say I am more than thrilled. My husband really wanted to stay on-site but everything is booked so this is the next best thing. Thanks for your input!

That is a great rate for that time of year. And you can just walk over to DTD where there are wonderful Xmas decorations.

Have fun!

What a wonderful deal for you. I'm glad I asked the initial question even if I haven't done it myself.
