Hotwire for one night?

I am planning an August Vacation. Currently, we are spending five nights at the Doubletree near DTD (got a super rate using a Mousesaver's code which starts on the second night of our vacation) and four nights at CBR. My problem is I do not have a hotel booked for the first night. I did a search on Hotwire and found a hotel with a resort marking, 3 stars for $47 per night in LBV. After checking betterbidding.com, I believe it is the Best Western LBV. Question is do you think it is worth add another hotel hop into the mix or should I attempt to secure the Doubletree at a minimum of $100 for the extra night.

Just to give you a little more information...I am a single parent traveling with DD(9) and younger cousin (12).
