Has anyone used Hotwire for a car rental from MCO before?
I guess I've been spoiled. I usually rent from Dollar (love walking across the street to get the car) and haven't paid more than $160/wk, with taxes and fees included. I've been looking for my January trip and everything was $325+fees (and this was for a conmpact car!
)
Thought about taking ME instead, but really like having a vehicle, especially for dinner reservations.
On the Hotwire site I could get a compact car for the week for $158 tax included. But I won't know the company until after I book. I really want a car that I can get as soon as I pick up my luggage. When a company says it's "In Terminal", does that mean I can get it without taking a shuttle? I seem to remember someone posting before that if it's on the airport grounds it's considered "In Terminal" even if you have to shuttle to get there.
Any tips on using Hotwire to guarantee a non-shuttle company?
Thanks!
Terri
