Can anyone hazard an educated guess about what hotel this might be? The only icons are pool and cont. breakfast. I need a cheap hotel with 2 beds for our first night before checking into PB in August.

Thanks!

Patti

Without more information from you Pati it's impossible to have even the wildest guess. I'm assuming this is in the I-Drive area? There are so many hotels in a small area that I doubt even with knowing almost the exact area and star rating you're going to get much help. When using hotwire I've so far stuck to going minimum 3* , I doubt you'll get a hotel that you can't put up with for one night on that basis.

I have to agree with Vernon that it's hard to figure out... and I wouldn't try it! I'd try Priceline for a 2 1/2 or a 3 star for that rate or a few dollars more. The list of hotels in that area for the USO area are all good ones.

I got a 4* for one night $57. Crowne Plaza Universal, cant wait to try it out!

Jessica,

Last July while we stayed at HRH, my family stayed at Crowne Plaza Universal for $59 per night. The rooms were beautiful - pool on the smaller side - no slide; the only down fall was that they entertain many tour groups from other countries and the kids were running the halls till the wee hours of the morning. My DS kept getting up and calling the front desk and finally my DBIL went to the front desk and complained (3:30 am). The apoligized and said he was the only person working right now and could not do anything. (They had just opened 2 weeks prior). The next day BIL went to speak to management about these episodes at night, and he apologized and stated that they were taking in the tour groups because they had just opened and were trying to fill rooms. He said he would monitor the situation. It was a bit better from then on in (they were there for 8 nights and had prepaid through Hotelkingdom and couldn't get a refund).

Hope you love your rooms - I was there several times and they were lovely as was the lobby and little cafe. They have a restaurant there too - we did eat lunch there and the sandwiches were good.

Deb,

Thanks so much for the review! I have looked all over could not seem to find much info. We are getting in late and moving to RPR the next morning. I saw the property in March and it looked nice. I figured it could be an option for when we couldnt get onsite. Did you drive or take the hotel transportation? We'll take a cab in the morning over to RPR.

Thanks again for the reply.:)

Jessica,

My family drove back and forth because the hotel transportation was awful. The van driver doubles at the front desk too - so, he would have to call for someone to come up to do the phones, etc. while he would drive the guests - the wait was awful - so my family just drove themselves!

Any other questions, just ask.........

Deb

I realize I probably didn't give enough information---but I got my answer, anyway! Someone on another thread just went ahead and booked the $28 room, and it turned out to the the Fairfield Inn I-drive.

BTW---they also paid $11 in fees, and for $40, I could just as easily book on hotelkingdom and know what I'm getting!
